[they can agree that it definitely looks deliberate, though. if it were just the screen or the sensor, maybe it could've been an accident, but the fact that both were damaged before it was abandoned... someone didn't want anyone else accessing this device, or knowing whose it was. maybe it wasn't the owner that destroyed it, either.
