( it really is odd: she remembers things from hazy past, hangouts with conversations she can't quite recall, looking at izumi bringing her an innate sense of deja vu. similarly, though, it feels as if she can't even remember his name — like at some point of them being friends she'd just forgotten it, which is ridiculous to think about. are the memories real, or is she imagining things? ... well, either way.

his presence being familiar is strangely comforting, even if she can't quite fish his name out of her memory. maybe that's why she'd gotten stuck staring at him like that.
