A school is a valued hall of learning. It should be kept safe from troublemakers and all sorts of ne'er-do-wells at a time when no one is in the school to keep watch! So, it does not seem strange to me that the school has been secured so effectively... [At least, he doesn't want to think about how strange it is.]

The puzzling thing is how an honorable school administration could overlook so many people being left in here accidentally! They - surely they should have conducted a thorough search of the school before looking up! I should seek out a way to raise an official complaint with the board of education...!
