bruno bucciarati / jojo's bizarre adventure

[ ooc: i'll be taking bruno post-canon, so please let me know if you want to avoid spoilers for part 5 / golden wind! there will be some in this post, but if you want to thread, i can accomodate you and make a new prompt. ]

i. cleaning

[ absolutely none of this makes any sense - not in the few moments where he feels lucid enough to actually think about it. The lack of clarity isn't exactly unfamiliar, considering all he'd been through, but his settings certainly are, and when Bruno finally manages to get a handle on his senses, the only plausible explanation he has for the fact that he's standing in school hallway with a mop in one hand is that he's having a hallucination in his final moments.

Tired as he is, there's a strong temptation to just let whatever this is happen until he drifts off again, and if he were a lesser man, he might give in; his fight is over. But he's never been the sort to take the easy road. Besides, it's near-impossible to ignore the very real sense of danger permeating this whole place. If he's not in peril, himself, he's concerned his men might be. After a moment and a surreptitious glance around at his surroundings, he lets the mop fall to balance against a wall, taking a few quiet steps towards a nearby window. Without further ado, he balls one hand up into a fist, then launches it at the glass as if he's going to punch through it.

He doesn't, though. Obviously. His knuckles bounce off of it with a resounding and sore donk, and he looks about as alarmed as anyone who might have just seen this definitely-too-old-to-be-in-high-school man throwing hands with a window for some reason?? ]

2. graduation

Wait.

[ he wasn't really listening to the "speech," if you can call it that, and when the crush of students begins to exit, Bruno doesn't follow, either. Instead, he stands up, keeping his eyes on the crowd.

It is blindingly obvious that something is wrong here. And, to him, it also seems blindingly obvious that this is the work of an enemy Stand - one with an outrageous amount of power, considering it seems to be suppressing his own. Most of the people here were either oblivious to what was happening or not real in the first place, as far as he can deduce - but not all of them. There should be at least one other person in the room who isn't a "student," using some kind of immensely powerful short-range stand. As it turns out, there are a few candidates. He'll work his way down the list. ]

You're not from this school, are you?

[ he keeps a good distance away, respectful, but his eyes are hard, and his voice is firm and authoritative, demanding an answer. ]

c. wildcard

[ he can be found in front of the bulletin board looking Perturbed, mainly, but i'm down for anything!! throw whatever you want at me - he'll be poking around everywhere. ]
