[It's a few days after the bodies are discovered that Add is finally convinced to move into the dorms. There are suddenly more rooms available... but that's not really his reason for doing it. No, he still wouldn't have bothered even if a one-person room appeared, but with all the chaos and killings going on around the school building overnight, knowing that Add tended to just stay in the workshop at all hours and fall asleep only when his body gave out...
Obviously, he couldn't trust all his belongings to be safe there unsupervised. The dorms would be safer. More locks, fewer people going in and out.
(he would be safer... but if that was the reasoning given, he likely wouldn't have listened.)
Anyway, there isn't actually much he has to move, but he does come by the dorms with a couple boxesโspare clothing, a cute purple blanket with a cat face sewn on one corner, some electronic scraps and a few tools he sniped from the workshop, whatever the hell this is, a flowerpot filled with dirt and withered stems...
He moves his possessions into โ4, leaving whatever items the previous resident had decided not to take with themโthat would be difficult, anyway, since Shuichi Saihara is very much dead.
Add still doesn't drop by often... but he does, on occasion. If he's not sleeping (a rare occurrence in and of itself), he's probably laying on his bed with a purple holoscreen projected in front of him, plugging away at some notes or programming or whatever, mumbling loudly to himself. His drone would also be nearby, though not doing much else of interest while it's being used as a screen-projector. Sometimes he'll have his notebook out instead, scribbling down paper notes... or staring blankly and quietly at a certain page where he's pressed a white anemone flower.]

[Today, Add has caught sight of someone's fancy dessert tray sitting on top of the fridge. He stands on the tips of his toes... but he is very much too short to reach it. Maybe that's why it's up there. He seems to give up after a few more seconds of pointless stretching, pacing in front of the fridge and glaring up at the forbidden snacks like they've personally offended him...
Then there's a flash, a flurry of pink and white crystal unfurling, and in the next instant Add is significantly taller, among other things. His hair is a massive rat-nest and chunks of his body seem to be fragmented, actively falling apart and scattering dust that defies gravity, floating upwards and spinning aimlessly before fading from existence. His damaged joints crunch like glass when he reaches upโ
and easily claims his spoils, now that he's a whole foot-and-an-inch taller. His snacks now.]

[On the 11th, both Add and Senku leave for Ishigami Village. On the 17th, only Senku returns. And late on the 20th, Add returns alone. If there's a reason why, he's not quick to give it.
His first priority is to check on Senku... but after that, he's back to business as usual. Skipping class, spending long hours holed up in the workshop, occasionally dropping in to the dorms to steal snacks or sleep in a bed... but maybe he's also a little more lonely. A little more willing to seek people out, at least the ones he knows and is familiar with... maybe, to him, it's been a long time since he's seen anyone familiar. Who's to say how long he's been gone?
He lingers, over the days that follow his return. Not quite approaching or engaging, but... watching, from the edges of the room, unconcerned with whether he's noticed or not. Observing the motions and the people around him. Even when nothing is happening, he doesn't seem to get bored. Maybe existing in proximity is enough for him.
... but also, it might be kind of weird to just let him stand there and stare for hours on end, so maybe it'd be a good idea to say something.]
