[ He shakes his head. He'd never met anyone like that, but even if he had, it seems irrelevant.

Born to win, huh... But then, Ranger was born to be a great masterpiece, wasn't he? And yet, they're both here, dead as it gets. They're both here, and Ranger himself has noticed an increasing amount of discrepancies since his arrival. ]

... Ahahaha, we were both born to be something we're not then, eh? Seeing as we're both dead and all.

[ He laughs, but it's the bitter and unpleasant sound of a person trying to swallow a particularly repulsive truth. If he were truly a masterwork, then he wouldn't have been disposed of. ]

But I guess you're right. No going back now. So, whatchya gonna do? Keep carrying everything 'til your back breaks? I'm not gonna try and stop you if that's what you wanna do. It's up to you.

[ But he's curious. After all, if he really thinks about it, then perhaps she's not that difficult to understand after all. In simulation after simulation, the same thing had happened over and over again. Sara had bent, and she had broken, and in the end hse had become exactly the same as them. Killing anyone, killing everyone, doing anything to preserve her own life.

Ah, no wonder they'd been so disappointed, when any one of them would have done that and more.

...

... But you know, you probably don't wanna wind up living that sorta life either.

[ Not the kind of life that follows once it's all bent and broken and there's nothing left but heartache and distrust and survival. ]
