First of all... ( he lets komaeda push his hand back, but obviously keeps a sharp eye on that blood to make sure it doesn't drip any further. ) You can just say "blood".

( "liquids" sounds so... not like it's blood.

but he'll offer up an apologetic smile to go with his next words, leaning down a little in that way you do when you're talking to kids, and looking for his part rather amused with this turn of events. like, yeah, okay, not ideal. kind of gross in a way he doesn't fully appreciate. but it's by taking things in stride that you tend to reassure people after things like this happen, and ensure it becomes water under the bridge, so that's what he'll focus on doing. )

And anyway, don't sweat it. It's just some blood, not a big deal. ( not like he's never had blood in his mouth before. )
