Right... I don't know. The magic I'm used to doesn't have to be drawn out like this, so I don't get it at all.

All they can ever do is take what they have and make do, to close their eyes and systematically go through every little thing that could possibly help. They're the sort of person who, in playing a point-and-click game, will click on everything, right to left, up to down, and then a second pass just in case clicking on something triggers a change in something else.
