[ As predicted, Rio follows him without so much as another word. In the meantime, he stays close to Komaeda as expected, just a couple steps behind, watching him closely. It is, in part, to ensure that he can keep him out of trouble. Rio trusts his partner well enough, but not so much that he doesn't remain cognizant of what they're doing. That's always how its been, and it's not a habit he has any intention of dropping. But there's another reason why he's watching, too. He's trying to discern if Komaeda isn't a little agitated and, if so, how to approach that problem.
He flips between cards as he moves, uncertain of what emotion he wants to present now. Happiness? Sadness? An intense stare? It seems as though more and more, he can't determine what face he's supposed to put on for this person. That, too, is quite the quandary.
