Thanks, A-Yao. I just... I hope you still feel that way after.
( because it is... the kind of thing that can rapidly drop someone's opinion of you. that's something amami fully understands. in any case, he'll run his fingers through the side of his hear, exhale a heavy sigh, and... right. he'll start... maybe not at the beginning, but at the beginning of what landed him here, then. )
So I... The reason I came here, is because I was a part of a killing game. ( starting off strong. )
Sixteen of us were kidnapped — well, that's what I thought, but... Anyway, we were forced to play against our will. ( kind of. ) The idea was that if you killed one of the others, and if you weren't caught during the class trial, they would let you go and kill everyone else who remained. If you caught the culprit during the class trial though, only they would die.
( he's started pacing by now, up and down a short stretch of the room as he gestures absently to accompany his words. here though, amami pauses, glancing to meng yao with a nervous expression. )
I know how it sounds, especially with the timing, but I didn't kill anyone.
( he grimaces, and his voice is tinged with something between desperation and defeat, but once he's managed to confirm what kind of expression meng yao might be wearing, he looks away again. )
Actually, from what my classmates told me, I was the first victim.
V3 spoilers start here
