I missed Christmas! [with just the greatest put-upon sigh. missing her absolute favorite holiday.

but, that's clearly the least important thing here, because she can dang well sense an attempted subject change.]

There's hardly anybody left... Did this place just make everybody kill each other? [she'd ask if they killed anyone but honestly she just. can assume.]
