I don't know if it's all that similar. I'm not a spirit, and I wasn't summoned from anywhere. I was a magitech researcher who ended up creating something that got used against me. Normally my inventions would run on artificial spirit magic, but I got sealed inside one of them instead. Mana loss isn't too much of an issue since the spell is designed to last for ages when left dormant, but I can't really do much on my own since my "body" is an inanimate, lifeless object.
