[ dito rolls his eyes at midori's comment, but he actually keeps his mouth shut for once because he isn't going to complain about midori going down first! this is actually the best scenario, and dito will give him a wave as he stands up while the other descends.
he figures they'll all end up going down there, so long as there's nothing explicitly dangerous. as loathe as he is to admit it and how he'd rather just fancy the cruel idea of closing the hatch on midori if he doesn't come back up and walking away from all of this, he knows that it wouldn't work out. he already knows ranger wouldn't put up with that...but he also needs the other around, for various reasons. a large part being that nobody else is going to give dito what midori provides him with, and he very, very, very much likes that perk.
