THERE AINT NO PARTY LIKE A BLANKET FORT SLUMBER PARTY
Who: OPEN to anyone and everyone!
When: May 22nd (Saturday) after 6pm and the following morning
Where: Class 3-D
What: it's time to heal from all the chaos and murder with a blanket fort slumber party, hell yeah hell yeah
Sometime after school has fully closed for the day and everyone else has gone home, a sign is put up on the door to 3-D. In rounded letters and surrounded by drawings of flowers and a couple cartoon cats, it reads:
BLANKET FORT CONSTRUCTION ZONE
slumber party @ 8pm
all are welcome!
(rule breakers will be sent to JAIL)
... if you show up early, everything might still be in the process of being set up, but by 8pm most of the desks and chairs in the room have either been pushed to the sides or stacked strategically in the middle to form mighty fortress walls. These are, of course, topped with blankets for cover, because it wouldn't be a blanket fort without blankets. Blankets are a limited resource at the school, so it's recommended to bring your own if you don't want to share a fort with someone else. Or maybe just steal a big scrap of fabric from the art room. Close enough, right?
Aside from the obvious arrangements at the centre, there is an un-blanketed pair of desks set aside for snacks. Nene made cookies, and Clamor has put out a bowl of healthy nuts and fruit (as if anyone would actually take those over the cookies). For drinks, there are a few bottles of juice and one pot of (thoroughly filtered) tea and a few cups to use. A small folded sign at the table politely reads "Don't be greedy."
If you are greedy, or if you harass anyone else just trying to have a good time, you risk being sent to...gay baby jail™. It is, as always, a cardboard box situated in the farthest corner of the room, and guarded diligently by only the most fearsome of dads and buff teenagers. You have been warned.
There is also a second cardboard jail cell on the opposite corner of the room, which is not labelled (yet). The inside is absolutely covered in scratch marks, since it's the same box that was used to catch the cat earlier in the month... but now it's jail 2: jail harder. It is reserved for criminals who cannot be allowed to collaborate during jail time, and you know who you are, please just behave yourselves.
This is meant to be a slumber party, so eventually, an amount of slumber will be expected. Luckily it's the weekend, so everyone is welcome to sleep in for as long as they want... just don't sleep in too late, unless you want to get stuck helping with clean up.
((OOC: It's another mingle!!! Feel free to make your own toplevels and comment around, start some party games, bring some extra snacks, hijack Nene's nerf gun to lay siege to your neighbour's fort... w/e!
This is meant to be something of a break from the usual death and despair of murderschool, so please don't do any actual murders in this log that is literally the lowest bar i can ask of y'all. Put warnings in your threads as needed! General chaos is fine, but characters that cause too much of a disturbance will be manhandled and sent togay baby jail™. You have been warned... twice!!
ICly the fort construction and party is being arranged by Clamor, Noah, Sidney and Nene, but basically anyone who wants to pop in and help out is welcome to, and CR may have been asked to join/help out in advance. If you need an excuse for your character to come, someone else could've dragged them there to chill—just ask!
anyway that's all pls have fun, go nuts))

( he exhales softly, pointing underneath rokkun's shoe. )
You stepped on the nail, you can have it since you were lucky to do so.
( no one has managed to touch it all party, and then rokkun comes in? okay, even if it was bait for him, he'd never know. it's stuck to his shoe now, which isn't his problem, so instead he'll stand back up properly bringing the pizza with him. they can set it near the chalkboard that komaeda's pointing at of where rika's drawn such nicely looking dicks, you know... atmosphere. )
no subject
He smiles, though, when he sets the pizza down and sees the chalkboard. ] Cute. [ This really is a high school sleepover. ]
I gotta say, though. You guys are bold staying here overnight.

Are we? This is pretty normal for us, though... all together in one place is a first at this time.
( you know, if someone coincidentally dropped a bottle of poison from the ceiling, or put bugs up there to cause a little disarray. no one ever really knows what could happen with them all in the same place, but isn't that what makes this exciting. )
You can sleep with me tonight if you're scared, Rokkun! ( he laughs because it's a joke, however. )
no subject
Can I?
no subject
...? Stay? Yep, no one's going to stop you.
( :* )
no subject
[ who's gonna stop him ]
no subject
( you know, he's probably going to get thrown out sooner or later. ) It's about being with as much people as you can to benefit from all their hope.
no subject
Like a hope leech...
[ He reaches out and cups Komaeda's cheeks so he can squish them, for no good reason. ]
Who here has the most so we can bum off them?
no subject
Rokkun, do you like putting your hands on me this much... ( you know komaeda's super cold? his vitals are 33, so good luck with cold hands now... )
You want to attack an Ultimate? ...It could work, it'd help their hope by seeing how they deal with the element of surprise.
( he's going to point at each one that's here. ) Take your pick.
no subject
[ His hands run warm so it's fine, this balances out, he'd had to haul all that pizza up there so maybe Komaeda's cold face is refreshing. ]
I never said anything about attacking, but...
[ He looks around at who's here. Kaede? Gundham? Gundham might fight back, but he's also covered with beetles which is more or less and impenetrable forcefield. He supposes he can always punch Shuichi and see what happens. ]
I don't want to be made into the villain here. At least not until after everybody's fallen asleep.
no subject
( it's why komaeda isn't worried about whatever evil shit is processing through his mind. of course, he watches where his eyes land — the blonde girl, then tanaka, then over to saihara — yeah, he doesn't know how far he'll get. )
Well... What's wrong with that? ( sometimes being the villain is how you see what everyone is made of, how you ensure their survival by making them stronger, and if they aren't stepping stones then their purpose means nothing. ) We could also try Ishimaru-kun, he's very rule based...
( he's pointing over to the guy with all the books, like who brings? books to a slumber party? )
He'll want order, but are you able to disrupt that?
no subject
Well, nothing like a little adversary to instigate hope. Stay here, alright? Wish me luck!
no subject
If you get hurt, I'll try to bandage you up.
( so don't get hurt on purpose, but komaeda gives a little wave to wish him luck. )

What are you doing, Nanami-san?
no subject
OI! OI!! Come play fighting games with me soon!
[ Ignore her shes going back to the ps1 she set up. ]
