THERE AINT NO PARTY LIKE A BLANKET FORT SLUMBER PARTY

When: May 22nd (Saturday) after 6pm and the following morning
Where: Class 3-D
What: it's time to heal from all the chaos and murder with a blanket fort slumber party, hell yeah hell yeah

Sometime after school has fully closed for the day and everyone else has gone home, a sign is put up on the door to 3-D. In rounded letters and surrounded by drawings of flowers and a couple cartoon cats, it reads:

BLANKET FORT CONSTRUCTION ZONE
slumber party @ 8pm
all are welcome!
(rule breakers will be sent to JAIL)
... if you show up early, everything might still be in the process of being set up, but by 8pm most of the desks and chairs in the room have either been pushed to the sides or stacked strategically in the middle to form mighty fortress walls. These are, of course, topped with blankets for cover, because it wouldn't be a blanket fort without blankets. Blankets are a limited resource at the school, so it's recommended to bring your own if you don't want to share a fort with someone else. Or maybe just steal a big scrap of fabric from the art room. Close enough, right?

Aside from the obvious arrangements at the centre, there is an un-blanketed pair of desks set aside for snacks. Nene made cookies, and Clamor has put out a bowl of healthy nuts and fruit (as if anyone would actually take those over the cookies). For drinks, there are a few bottles of juice and one pot of (thoroughly filtered) tea and a few cups to use. A small folded sign at the table politely reads "Don't be greedy."

If you are greedy, or if you harass anyone else just trying to have a good time, you risk being sent to... gay baby jail™. It is, as always, a cardboard box situated in the farthest corner of the room, and guarded diligently by only the most fearsome of dads and buff teenagers. You have been warned.

There is also a second cardboard jail cell on the opposite corner of the room, which is not labelled (yet). The inside is absolutely covered in scratch marks, since it's the same box that was used to catch the cat earlier in the month... but now it's jail 2: jail harder. It is reserved for criminals who cannot be allowed to collaborate during jail time, and you know who you are, please just behave yourselves.

This is meant to be a slumber party, so eventually, an amount of slumber will be expected. Luckily it's the weekend, so everyone is welcome to sleep in for as long as they want... just don't sleep in too late, unless you want to get stuck helping with clean up.

This is meant to be something of a break from the usual death and despair of murderschool, so please don't do any actual murders in this log that is literally the lowest bar i can ask of y'all. Put warnings in your threads as needed! General chaos is fine, but characters that cause too much of a disturbance will be manhandled and sent to gay baby jail™. You have been warned... twice!!

ICly the fort construction and party is being arranged by Clamor, Noah, Sidney and Nene, but basically anyone who wants to pop in and help out is welcome to, and CR may have been asked to join/help out in advance. If you need an excuse for your character to come, someone else could've dragged them there to chill—just ask!

[ Her words do sound somewhat excitable, though her choice of words are rather plain. She then relaxes for a moment and looks at him - was it appropriate for her to ask to hear his music? She is mulling over this thought in silence. ]

Mm. [ A short hum, a nod of his head, Hajun finds something interesting about the ceiling while she remains silent.

[ Shes use to Ibuki ready and raring to sing her heart out for everyone. However he... Seems indifferent? ]

[ It takes her a minute but, ]

Do you like games? I can teach you secret moves and techniques to show off to other people the next time you play with them?

[ Hajun pauses briefly to look at her, canting his head slightly and sucking in a breath. ]

I don't have time for games. I'm a college student and have two roommates who can't cook... Is gaming just a specialty of yours? [ And because he doesn't mince words -- ] Is that all your good for?

[moderating]

Yes, unfortunately.

[ Nanami adds frankly, she would feel a bit self conscious - should she? I think shes thinking too much about the possibility of Hajun singing and reflecting on what he said in a logical way for her to be upset. ]

Hm, hm... I don't really know how to do anything else. What other things do you like?

[rhymed]

How ordinary. [ Said plainly, without hesitation. Hajun's voice remains gentle, however, so it's difficult to express his words as an insult --

But she'll definitely recognize that he's also after saying this: ] Let me bully you when I'm bored. I enjoy teasing others. [ But like not in a cute way, he doesn't add. ]

[moderating]

Okay.

[ Nanami reads his tone of voice - if anything focuses on that. It tells her its okay because it sounds gentle. Tells her that he is a confusing human being, and she leaves the understanding of him and what goes on in this conversation at that for now. ]

Do you like singing in front of others? Or will it be a private show?

[rhymed]

[ Idiot. ]

I don't mind. I've done it several times on stage, but that's also because I've needed to because our group was doing something... Otherwise, because of my schedule, I'd do private shows.

[moderating]

: o [ You know her :o look. ] .... [ After a short but prominent pause she speaks suddenly. ] Now I know why you asked me what I can give you in turn! You must be a really big deal where you are from.

[ She mulls over it really surprised.]

Do you like other things? I know I cant really do anything in exchange for your singing, but maybe I can get you something in return? Hm! Hm! Is there something you really want, maybe I can look for it?

[ Not quite. He told her that he'll give her some form of entertainment if she does the same -- by allowing him to bully her, without any real explanation of what he means. It's kept vague for a reason, and if she's smart she may quickly realize why. ]

I like teasing others, especially when they give me a nice expression... So if you show me something tasty I'll give you a reward in exchange, okay? [ He smiles, charming yet dangerous. ] Why don't you get me something to drink real quick?

[ His smile is different, shes not entirely use to the sort of devious smiles. Not like that, but its a smile none-the-less so she registers it as him being happy. That she is succeeding in talking! Albeit awkwardly. ]

Hmm! Hmm! You kinda of remind me of those boys in my otome games, where they say weird things to try to get a rise out of the heroine. Either to make them mad or make them blush? [ Shes thinking. 'If you show me something tasty,' because what he said was honestly kinda weird to her. Who says those sorts of things? She cant help but compare it to something from her games. ] I've never met anyone like that before.

[ The comment was made softly, she looks away for a moment thinking he reminds her of an otome character. At this point he might notice, shes spacing out for about like a while... Maybe he leaves idk. She registers him as a 'Oresama' type, and hopefully will remember how to handle it.

From which his telling statement: So if you show me something tasty-. Breathes Oresama type, and she thinks upon it. The only way to respond to this is one of two ways:

1. Get flustered and act all desu like some of the games let you.
or
2. Just agree with whatever he says, but at some points ignore him and act like hes not special.

The second was within her capability, because frankly Nanami cant get flustered like that. So she just turns around, and leaves him. Quietly... Very dumbly... Please shes not good at this. Dont worry shell find him later and give him a drink but like.... An hour later. ]

[ Hajun looks over Chiaki's head to find a window or something -- anything to find the reflection of his own face and train himself not to allow his expression falter. Smile and nod, he tells himself, smile and nod. ]

I have no idea what you're talking about. [ Because he's a guy who goes out on dates and doesn't... date two-dimensional characters. ] I'm speaking like I usually would? I know my fans would at times call it cheesy, though... they seem to enjoy the way I tease them, at least. [ Not a flex. Also Hajun has said a lot more raunchy shit to get them all riled up.

But that's fine. She can leave for as long as she wants cause he's just gonna go off to do his own shit, too. At least he's polite enough to wave when she decides to leave! ]

[ He says that but Nanami has never heard any of her friends say such weird things - and she has Komaeda as a friend. Cheesy, the line sits in her head and she wonders if its really something legitimate. It does nothing for her but make her think about how silly it sounds, maybe she'll say to Hinata and see what he thinks.

Anyway she comes back an hour later or sooo, after looking for him. Thinking shes doing this right, which she probably isn't. With two drinks in her hand she offers him one. ]

... Here's your drink - actually for a bit there. I wasn't sure if any of them were okay to drink, but I made sure that they were!

[rhymed]

So you just drank something without knowing if whether or not that it could be expired? Or poisoned? [ Lord he's seen what you've done for other people -- give Nanami some common SENSE.

Either way, he's going to take the drink she offers from her hand. ]

... No? I went to look and make sure. Sorry If I gave the wrong impression.

[ She answers very seriously thinking the other had a lot of concerns. The girl cant help but understand them, especially with how crazy this world is. ]

Its okay, anything to help! . . . Ah, hey I did not get your name before - I don't think? Mine is Nanami Chiaki, I am from 2-B!

[rhymed]

[ He has zero concerns. ]

Hajun Yeon, class 1-B. So we can consider each other as neighbors. [ Cause classmates is a bit much... considering they "woke up" from that illusion and he's sure he graduated from high school like three years ago lmao. ]

Neighbors...? If we say that then it really feels like we are trapped here, doesn't it?

[ Nanami asks idly, as someone who takes literal meanings to heart sometimes. She could not help but envision as much with calling one another this way. ]
