THERE AINT NO PARTY LIKE A BLANKET FORT SLUMBER PARTY

Who: OPEN to anyone and everyone!
When: May 22nd (Saturday) after 6pm and the following morning
Where: Class 3-D
What: it's time to heal from all the chaos and murder with a blanket fort slumber party, hell yeah hell yeah

Sometime after school has fully closed for the day and everyone else has gone home, a sign is put up on the door to 3-D. In rounded letters and surrounded by drawings of flowers and a couple cartoon cats, it reads:

BLANKET FORT CONSTRUCTION ZONE
slumber party @ 8pm
all are welcome!
(rule breakers will be sent to JAIL)

... if you show up early, everything might still be in the process of being set up, but by 8pm most of the desks and chairs in the room have either been pushed to the sides or stacked strategically in the middle to form mighty fortress walls. These are, of course, topped with blankets for cover, because it wouldn't be a blanket fort without blankets. Blankets are a limited resource at the school, so it's recommended to bring your own if you don't want to share a fort with someone else. Or maybe just steal a big scrap of fabric from the art room. Close enough, right?

Aside from the obvious arrangements at the centre, there is an un-blanketed pair of desks set aside for snacks. Nene made cookies, and Clamor has put out a bowl of healthy nuts and fruit (as if anyone would actually take those over the cookies). For drinks, there are a few bottles of juice and one pot of (thoroughly filtered) tea and a few cups to use. A small folded sign at the table politely reads "Don't be greedy."

If you are greedy, or if you harass anyone else just trying to have a good time, you risk being sent to... gay baby jail. It is, as always, a cardboard box situated in the farthest corner of the room, and guarded diligently by only the most fearsome of dads and buff teenagers. You have been warned.

There is also a second cardboard jail cell on the opposite corner of the room, which is not labelled (yet). The inside is absolutely covered in scratch marks, since it's the same box that was used to catch the cat earlier in the month... but now it's jail 2: jail harder. It is reserved for criminals who cannot be allowed to collaborate during jail time, and you know who you are, please just behave yourselves.

This is meant to be a slumber party, so eventually, an amount of slumber will be expected. Luckily it's the weekend, so everyone is welcome to sleep in for as long as they want... just don't sleep in too late, unless you want to get stuck helping with clean up.

((OOC: It's another mingle!!! Feel free to make your own toplevels and comment around, start some party games, bring some extra snacks, hijack Nene's nerf gun to lay siege to your neighbour's fort... w/e!

This is meant to be something of a break from the usual death and despair of murderschool, so please don't do any actual murders in this log that is literally the lowest bar i can ask of y'all. Put warnings in your threads as needed! General chaos is fine, but characters that cause too much of a disturbance will be manhandled and sent to gay baby jail. You have been warned... twice!!

ICly the fort construction and party is being arranged by Clamor, Noah, Sidney and Nene, but basically anyone who wants to pop in and help out is welcome to, and CR may have been asked to join/help out in advance. If you need an excuse for your character to come, someone else could've dragged them there to chill—just ask!

anyway that's all pls have fun, go nuts))

[ What a spark - Nanami thinks. It was her favorite thing to look at others around her, the spark of life. Determination. Living - it was something she lacked and only ever shown in the slightest of ways. It was what separated her from the rest, although moved always by each and every one of them. Especially when she were the essence of all their memories of her from their past. A light like the one shown beautifully in Hinata's eyes was one she often were without.

So she looks at him long, and silent. The sort of doe-eyed look she gives when she's thinking long and hard about something. As if trying to detail or remember the moment in his eyes and his voice. The determination that fiercely was what dominated over anyone's sadness over the despair Junko had wrought to give him and the others. Reminding him who he originally were, when Nanami knew and adored him for so much more then what he saw in himself. Or rather, criticized of himself and that of which Junko fed on.

She loved that he could chose, and in the choice of it follow through with his feelings. The determination that echo'd like a blaze erupting beautifully, so much like how a sun eclipses down into the beaches waves as dawn erupts unto the horizon. Everything were alit with his feelings and determination. Nanami moved even by something so small a statement, but she believed in him always. Everything that he could do, and would do from it.

It could be that she believed him far too much, but it was her earnest feeling and no one would take that away from her. Not even him. Setting him upon a pillar that even if he feels he fails to live up to, Nanami would gladly smile and think he had done his absolute best. Love him for it all the same.

So she finally smiles gently - all those thoughts of him coming together. Into a feeling now, a smile - an earnest cheekish one. Rather innocent as she is someone who can not contend to smiles so easily. Canting her head after the long awkward pause of the two staring at one another. Her cheeks slightly red. ]

.... I'll support you, and follow you no matter where you go. So don't go too far without me okay? [ It was selfishness that she said that, even though she thought also it was rather cruel to say that. So she says suddenly. ] Just kidding!

I'll be here if you need help though. Just ask okay? I think Nagito-kun needs help right now though. His words always say what he means deep down, and I rarely hear him lie about himself.. But thats why he needs a friend like you, someone to really remind him about the world around him and not the world he wants to see. You always bring out the best of everyone too.
