[Closed] June catchall for Servant Meetings // So I'll sneer as I pray
Who: James Moriarty, Sherlock Holmes, and Henry Jekyll/Edward Hyde
What: Assorted meetings for the Servants around school.
When: tail end of may - entirety of june
Where: Varying locations
Warnings: Will add as needed!
[As much as the general meetings gave them information, there were things that needed to be spoken about and discussed before or after a large meeting. And, as much as there were people to trust, all three - four, technically - knew each other, both from Chaldea and when they were alive.
So, it comes as no real surprise when Moriarty passes both Sherlock and Jekyll a piece of paper stating a date and time for all of them to meet up, with the intent to make this a more regular thing.
If they are to survive this school - if any of the souls here are - then they need to be more organized.]

May 31st, after....the whole student council thing
When both Sherlock and Jekyll (because he'd written on the note that please, if Jekyll could attend at first) arrive, they'll find Moriarty in a much more familiar outfit - his Servant clothing, with his hair finally swept upright as it normally is, a few butterflies flitting about him before they vanish into nothing.]
Thank you for coming, gentlemen - my apologies that it had to be after the events we all unfortunately witnessed today.
[Y'know....the teenager fight to the death.]
Still, as you can see, the situation has changed a bit - and, I believe we should make a habit of meeting up occasionally to inform ourselves on anything we may have seen or heard, or any information gleaned from this place.
no subject
He raised his brows on getting a good look at Nemesis. The Detective had to admit it's a sight for sore eyes to see the flashy outfit and the purely decorative butterflies.]
So you regained some of your ability.
no subject
Oh? Are you connected back with Chaldea by any chance? Have you heard back from them?
[ HE adjusts settling into a spot leaning against one of the tables. ]
no subject
No - Unfortunately, while I am able to clothe myself thusly, and do this -
[And he just straight up vanishes, but in the obvious 'went into incorporeal/spirit form' way, before returning.]
- I am not connected with Chaldea, and I am missing all of the normal benefits of being a Servant, such as increased strength, speed, and access to weapons or my noble phantasm. It seems as if I was merely granted limited access to my Saint Graph, as strange as that may seem.
Indeed - I am certain I would have to eat and sleep still if not for my high rank in Independent Action.
no subject
[Go ahead and brag about that Independent Action]
Though it doesn't stop us... you're not the only one who recovered some of their abilities as a Servant here, Professor.
no subject
Hmm, that is interesting in a way. So are we back how we were in Chaldea then? Having to slowly regain our abilities, and unlocking our Saint Graphs slowly by either participating or? Acknowledging more of the world? What have the both of you done so far that allowed for your skills to come back..? I will say I noticed Hyde got his Guitar, and his Knife back. For what ever reason....
[ Jekyll is just sitting here like: Why the fuck the guitar? ]
no subject
[Honestly, he just doesn't want Holmes to upstage his drama about getting his clothes back, but he also...doesn't sound that surprised that Holmes also became a little bit more of a Servant, himself.]
As for your questions - I honestly cannot say at the moment. I have tried to be out and about, so that may have been a factor...or, perhaps it isn't merit based at all, and there is some other unknown factor we are unaware of.
[He shrugs, though he suppresses the sigh about the knife.]
Of course, the revival of our powers is not the only thing I wished to bring up.
....Have either of you seen Ritsuka, lately?
no subject
...No, I'm afraid I hadn't.
no subject
[ There is a reflective sigh that comes from his lips, and a gut wrenching feeling that the worse had come to pass. ]
no subject
But then, he merely gives a laugh. A laugh that sounds perfectly flippant and normal, but....considering they both know him, it's more akin to nervous laughter.]
Well, it is our Master! I am - certain that she's merely traipsing about somewhere, you know how she is!
no subject
...She has a way of getting into and out of trouble...
[But there's no evidence that she's all right, no signs, anything to say she's alive, logic dictates a long absence means... briefly, his eyes moved from the two, to nowhere in particular]
no subject
For all we know she may have come into contact with Chaldea herself, there is so much about this school that remains a mystery. I would not put it past her to have figured something out on her own.
no subject
[....except she would never do that. He'd seen her refuse to give up on a situation that wouldn't affect anything in any way, if but for her affection for the servants that would be destroyed with the meteor in shinjuku.
...
There's ice in his gut and his spine, but he continues talking.]
Yes, yes...anyway! Holmes, stop being cryptic and tell us what you've regained!
no subject
He nearly jolts when Moriarty addresses him, trying to chase the thought off]
Aside from having the ability to go spirit form... I have regained my Library.
no subject
[ Listen they are all ignoring the obvious. ]
no subject
Ah, yes - I suppose that would be a help here, wouldn't it? Though it'll have the unfortunate side effect of making you even more of a know-it-all.
no subject
It only came up fully today... there's things I'm still looking into - not enough to draw any conclusions.
[This is not the place to be going off half-cock on gut feelings and speculations]
no subject
[ So he coincides against Moriartys words, but glad to hear Sherlock is taking this seriously. It is true there was too much going on to make light note of it. ]
Was there other things the two of you had in mind to talk about?
no subject
[SAID GRUDGINGLY, but weirdly with an amount of respect behind it.
Still, at that question, he...clears his throat.]
Yes, there is....somewhat else.
Upon my waking here, I...found myself against the counselor's office, with a note saying that I had a meeting with the man on the 14th.
I went to that meeting, of course.
[And he...pauses again, because for the second time in this conversation...
There's a brief moment where he seems to lose his composure - and this time, it's to showcase a severe uneasiness.]
no subject
What happened?
[His voice came out soft - he tried to think, no - he can't recall a time since he has known the man that he looked so unnerved; not even when he was a barely conscious prisoner inside of Moriarty and the man had lost his resolve to fight Ritsuka.
...He couldn't help but share his Nemesis' uneasiness]
What did he do?
no subject
[ The uneasiness in the air, Jekyll spoke promptly with some nervousness to his tone. ]
I know that Hyde also had a meeting with the Counselor... I do recall a new scar left on the side of my body from it... However I, have no recollection of it. I presume he hurt you physically too?
no subject
[Moriarty blinks, looking almost...frightened? For a brief, blink and you'll miss it moment - before rapidly shaking his head.]
No! There was nothing - physical - done, at any rate...
[His voice falters for a breath, then comes back strong - almost forceful.]
Though I suppose I'm not surprised to hear that, considering how that man acted.
no subject
Please. Tell me everything that you two know about him.
[He realized he sounded more urgent than he intended, but there's so much cascading at once in his head, and the things he's witnessing now - this simply cannot be brushed away!]
no subject
[ Jekyll couldnt say it though Sherlock seemed more alarmed about the circumstance. Rightfully so. ]
no subject
He refuses to be reduced to a hyperventilating, panicked mess in front of these two men like he was in that office - in front of these two men, he must be the implacable, irrefutable evil man, with no obvious weak spots.
When he speaks, one could almost truly believe he's mastered himself and his emotions.]
At first, I was fishing for information - but as I remained evasive, so did he. Though he also had a strange sort of...intimacy. I could not get a straight answer out of the man, nor even his name, and he seemed to...
[There's a pause.]
...I suppose I could say it almost seemed as if he and I used the same techniques against people.
[Which did make sense, seeing as counseling and therapy revolves about understanding and using your words.]
He also asked me who I felt I was, and what it was I had to do here - and then, after I answered him, he asked for my left hand.
[The hand that bore the marks on his wrist - he flips it over for emphasis, showing all 19.]
Once he touched them, I...had a vision. Or...perhaps a memory. A memory, of -
[He shudders, and hates that he couldn't suppress it in time.]
- of being buried alive, suffocating while soundlessly screaming for help...
[His eyes suddenly seem far away, as his voice trails off.
Considering how he died - and the common fear of being buried alive in their day - is it any wonder why he reacted the way he did to hearing about the counselor?]
no subject
Not just the burial... but the way Moriarty speaks, for a moment his ears seem to be ringing, no more like he's listening to the sound of rushing water - the question bubbling up before he forces it back under, trying to focus on the now, not the past. Briefly, he glanced over to Jekyll, gauging how he is responding as he turned over his own hand, showing five marks]
...
The tally marks are records, and he's able to force you to relive one by touch - what is he exactly...?
no subject
... ?
[ Jekyll looks at his own tallys, how he recalls having 15 and now owning 16 marks. That is to say, his entire body is riddled with all sorts of bandages and bruises. Though the most recent one along his neck was from Rika herself - he is sure of that much. This all gives him thoughts to think about, and has nothing to say currently. ]
no subject
[Some sort of god or spirit or supernatural entity, given how he dodged giving his name, and knew things they did not. Or perhaps a man merely having seen the chaos that is in this school?
He notices the other man's confusion at his marks - and inwardly, moriarty can't help but note that both of them have lower marks than he does.]
Is something wrong, Jekyll?
no subject
He's been suspecting they weren't given the complete story on their existence]
...Something isn't adding up?
[The Detective questions]
no subject
[ However if in Moriartys memory he 'died' then - what does that mean about his tally? Or all the tallys in total? ]
no subject
[There's a pause, before he just....decides to say it.]
Holmes, I understand. But why would I have higher marks than you? I mean no offence, but...
[Y'know. Hyde. And how he DID ANOTHER MURDER, that's fun to find out this way.]
...Well, we all know of Hyde's....predilections.
no subject
[Or else the Russian Lostbelt would have increased his score]
...Miss Ritsuka had a very high number of marks.
no subject
Did she? I don't recall seeing hers.
no subject
He gives a little huff as he's ignored, but seems to treat it as a 'what will be, will be' situation, letting it drop.]
Well, if these also represent deaths, it's no surprise.
[Seriously, how many times has she thrown herself at situations that should kill her?]
no subject
[When it comes to himself, anyways... and it means they have to find Ritsuka as soon as possible]
no subject
[ About the whereabouts of their beloved Master. ]
