[ Kaede hasn't been in the sewing room a whole lot, so she decides to really go check it out. That's when she finds someone else in there, sketching on some fabric.

Almost immediately, she zeroes in on that hood. ]

Wow, your jacket looks super cute!

[he's making himself some inner pockets now, with tiny little cat ears along the top because he can and no one can stop him... but anyway, there's another annoying voice buzzing in his ears, and he's starting to regret doing all this out in the open. he should've just stolen all the good sewing supplies and done it in his homeroom or whatever so no one would bother him with all this talk about cuteness...]

It's not for you, so I don't care how you think it looks.

Geez… just take the compliment!

[ But she’s not that bothered by it, even if she feels a little put off for a moment.

She takes a step closer to get a better look at what he’s making. The cat ears on the pockets are cute too, but she keeps herself from saying it. ]

You seem like you know what you’re doing. Do you sew a lot?

[He grumbles something inaudible, which was probably fuck your compliments or something like that.

But the majority of his attention is on his current project, so he can't be bothered to chase her off for now... he sighs, deciding to tolerate her attempts at conversation.]

... Not really. It's a practical skill. [something he does out of necessity, not because he particularly enjoys it.] Don't like to rely on others... the only way to make sure it's done properly is to do it myself.
