( with lily may in his grasp, his eyes slip past her down his better sleeve, but it's just his jacket in general. he thinks about it for a moment, wondering what could be done to it, and how the feline settles her paws on the width of his arm in an attempt to push herself up. she doesn't like to be held for so long, so he'll allow her to squirm out first before he looks towards add with a sheepish expression, almost like he's embarrassed. )

I'd find myself predisposed to the idea, but I feel as if... such fine craftsmanship would be better applied towards the upcoming event.

( he slips that in to see if he can garner add's attention, especially with how attached he is to his handiwork — he recalls on rokkun's birthday the idea of speaking with people to help the fundraiser — akira was one of the clothing possibilities, and perhaps he can bring add in as well. getting the dorms seems like a nice reward for working so diligently, and so komaeda leans to place cross his arms on the table, laying his head down as he looks up at add with a soft smile. short-lived though as lily may walks towards komaeda's face, and practically sits on his head so that she can be focused on instead —

at least this is a nice? komaeda's tail follows the same motions as lily may's plume version, so there's this connection maybe... )

[Upcoming event? That does grab Add's attention, somewhat, though he opts not to comment on it just yet. A raised eyebrow is all he gets for now.]

... It won't be my craftsmanship. You're distracting me, so I'll show you how to do it and you can ruin your own jacket for all I care. If you don't like it, then leave.

[it wouldn't hurt to clean up that sleeve a bit while they're at it, either... but that might require a more skilled hand. they'd need to find a matching material to patch it with as well. hmm.

and while he's thinking about that, Lily May plants herself on Komaeda's head... with slow, cautious movements, he steals himself a pet of her soft white fur. yessssssssss]

( he plays fair though, with lily may on his head, he can't stop himself from extending his prosthetic hand to lay near add. he's wondering if she'll see this as a catwalk, making her way towards add to steal a bit more affection from him. it also looks like he's offering his sleeve to be fixed, but it's mostly because he wants lily may to move. she doesn't work on komaeda's command though, and her plume tail fluffs up as she daintily trots over towards add to sit on his hardwork —

sighs, what a gentle creature. )

Why would I leave... You're stuck with me...~

( he speaks playfully as he watches lily may make her way over, and since she's finally freed his head, he'll sit up properly. now, komaeda gauges his interest with hope, but also towards the people she likes, because she's pretty good stress relief and comfort kitty. the soft, audible purrs as she brushes her face against add's hand — )

Lily May thinks so too... so won't you keep us?

[Add........ isn't listening because he's distracted by the kitty. He doesn't even care that she's getting white fur all over his black hood, or that Komaeda is still next to him saying something annoying. All that matters right now... is Cat.

he is petting the cat and he's not going to stop, he is hers now]

... mm, did you say something?

( she purrs from his touch, and komaeda is actually satisfied as he watches her take a liking to him. there's some similarities that he spots, but the most important one is lily may. )

Lily May is a good girl, are you curious what her favorite meal is...?

( because he knows, and he'll pass on the wisdom. )

[he scritches her behind the ears....... he'll get back to the sewing again in a minute, okay, this is his government mandated Lily May Break Time]

Favourite meal... hmm. [could be useful information for the future... is it something easy to acquire, or something rare he should always save for her?] What is it?

( this gets updated every time ori finds out lily may's new, favorite meal, and so komaeda is also as aware. now we can be aware together. )

Right now... She's interested in "wet" cat food, so I make sure to wet her dish very often before putting anything in.

( she also eats rats, but that's like a normal diet for cats. )

If you start doing that as well, she'll probably love you as much as she loves trash like me!
