Dinner is served! (Open)
Who: Angel and you!
What: Angel finds food!
When: 4/1
[Angel has never been an indoor dog.
Not that she hasn't wanted to be one, but this wasn't what she had in mind. Her indoor life always involved a warm, cozy home with a family, not... a building. A building she can't leave, no matter where she checks she can't seem to get out. There's no signs of Scamp, or Buster, or any of the junkyard dogs. As far as she knows, she's alone here.
She's explored for what feels like for hours when her stomach grumbles, and she catches the whiff of... freshly cooked meat. She's pretty hungry, so she follows the smell and comes across a 10 LB piece of roast beef just sitting there, unattended.]
Well, don't mind if I do.
[And if you come across the home ec room, you'll find a tiny yellow dog going to town on a really large, freshly cooked, piece of meat. Maybe she can be convinced to share? If you don't mind sharing with a dog.]

Is... Is that what the fairy gave you? [hey remember it's that jerk who dropped you surely she's good to share with]
no subject
Fairy? I don't know about that. No one's around, so I helped myself.
[If you don't take an opportunity to grab food when you see it, you don't eat. Them's the rules. Normally she eats trash.]
no subject
I got a knife, but it's a pretty one that has flowers on it, so I think that's why the Spring Break Gift Fairy picked it for me. [...] I would've picked food, though.
no subject
A knife, huh? I would've picked food too. This place doesn't look like it's got too many trashcans to rummage through for food.
[SHE KNOWS THAT HUMANS DON'T GO THROUGH THE TRASH FOR FOOD... just her.]
... Tell you what, if you can give me a better tour of this place, I might not say no to sharing a little meat.
[Ugh, what is she even doing. She could be saving that meat for later!]
no subject
Of course! What do you need a tour for, though? ["can you not get around easily on your adorable widdle feeties?" she doesn't say but definitely thinks.]
no subject
I'm not entirely convinced that there's no way out of this place, but I could use someone who's a little more familiar with this place to help me look.
no subject
... Do you mind being carried? I feel like I should ask first. [since, y'know. you can talk.]
no subject
[And without much effort, Angel bounces up on a chair, and then on top of a counter. She looks like she's trying to show off a little.]
I guess I could stand it for a little while, as long as you don't drop me again.
no subject
[like if this were a clifford and emily elizabeth situation]
no subject
...
It's no wagyu, but she'll take anything at this point. ]
Oh... wow. Is this all yours?
[ She doesn't expect an answer, so she just stares at the meat. ]
no subject
[Yep, that's definitely a talking dog. She watches Iria carefully before taking another bite for herself.]
no subject
Oh.
She must be so stressed and tired to the point that she's starting to hallucinate dogs talking to her. Of course. That sounds like a sound reason to think that the dog is talking to her. Yes--Iria puts on a smile the best she can. ]
Could I have some? I could probably take a little piece from the corner.
no subject
[Ugh, what is she even doing. Sharing? Way to give up your meal, Angel.]
no subject
[ This school is giving her so many first experiences. She has never thanked a dog, apparently, nor talked to one. She doesn't have a knife on hand, but she does her best to tear a finger-long chunk of the corner and eats it slowly.
Everything tastes delicious if you're hungry enough. ]
Are you going to bury it for later?
no subject
It has been ages since he last seen a hound. Let alone a pup - but the pup itself was so small it drew a peculiar feeling from Gawain himself. Why was it here for one, what could it possibly doing inside the school here? Was it trapped like them - a length of question upon his mind he steps toward the young animal. Reaching down for the plate he pulls it away. ] Now, now, it would be no good if you ate all of this so suddenly. Unfortunately with your mouth upon it, I suppose it is completely yours now... But if we've a pup to feed as well as our own, I feel as if this will be a problem.
no subject
And why would that be a problem?

[She knows that dogs eating people food isn't really considered OK. Not that she can really stop him from doing so.]
