It's time for another FAMILY MEETING!!

[There's a sign posted on 3-C on the 27th the future is now indicating that it's that time of month! That's right, it's time for the family meeting!

Lucifer is in charge this time and he is holding a whip, so please behave yourselves or you might get a warning crack near your head. Or don't behave yourselves. He's not your dad. He will, however, try his hardest to keep you all on track.

As Lucifer is also one of the Team Moms Dads, he's also made everybody lunch as he is wont to do. The rather fancy-looking food is set up on a couple of desks at the front of the classroom to peruse at your leisure. There are cookies and muffins as well, but please try to eat a real lunch instead of subsisting off of sweets entirely.

On the whiteboard, Lucifer has written the following topics & talking points that he'd like to discuss with everybody, and has requested that you all raise your hands so that this can be done in an orderly fashion... Good luck, Luci.
  • Who is missing? Who is confirmed deceased?
  • The gladiatorial battle — is it possible that those who died previously may come back to inflict further harm? Any guesses?
  • What the Hell was going on last weekend?
  • The void in the auditorium is infinite
  • Results of last month's investigations that we agreed on doing
  • The imps plaguing the school have been removed (thank you to Clamor for his assistance)
  • Have we discovered anything new?

Last but not least, the final bullet is one hundred percent something that Lucifer clearly wants to do, and it reads simply:
  • Instating a chore chart

So that's... fun.]

Let's try to keep this more orderly than the last one, shall we?

[And yes, the cardboard baby jail is set up in the back of the classroom! Naughty children go to cardboard baby jail. Naughtier children get a whip cracked at them. Have fun, everyone!]

[[OOC: The usual rules of the family meeting posts apply, which means threadjacking/general mingling is allowed and encouraged! Please remember to only share information your character discovered ICly to avoid metagaming. Also no Lucifer will not actually cause physical harm to anyone's characters with the whip unless player permission is granted, I'm not as psychotic as he is, don't worry about it.]]

( hanakokun where are you........ amami has been wanting to apologize for his doubts all month. anyway, imps specifically aside, there is something that comes to mind. )

On the other hand, even if we don't want to be teaching summoning and battle magic to the students here, what about teaching other transfer students how we can protect ourselves? We might not all be magically inclined, but there should be things we can do that can reduce the risks, at least.

( ...right? where's y'alls protective talismans or whatever at, if you're so great at getting rid of demons!! )

[ Great Minds think alike, but also she is a bit worried about those who do know magic... Using it without their knowing and how would they all even know? ]

... I second this idea.

[ SHE WANTS TO LEARN MAGIC. ]

Hmm, well I was thinking about suggesting something like that, actually. There's only so much I can do right now with my mana blocked, but there's a lot of defensive magic that isn't too difficult to learn. Protective wards, minor illusions, dispelling curses, healing... [stuff that isn't gonna somehow blow up or murder anyone, preferably.]

Not everyone is capable of performing magic, though. Plus there are people like myself who know how to do magic but can't right now... Lucky for all of you, it just so happens that one of Seven Tower's finest magitech experts is in this very room! I'm sure we'll be able to figure something out.

... I think thats really amazing. I always wanted to be a mage! It'll be like turning into a rpg character!! Can I learn white magic? Do you have White magic?

[ All she heres is gamer terms so... ]

I don't think my Mana output exists, [ Because shes an ai so her of all people probably has no life force other then the one she obtained here in Yogen. ] but it would be cool to see?

Haha, I guess that'd be... protective spells and healing? That's what most people would call white magic. If you're interested, I could show you a few of the wards from my book later? [the gamer terms might take some getting used to, but he's always happy to have an enthusiastic student! Nanami can consider herself invited to occult club whenever it happens]

Magitech was invented so anyone could use magic, no matter what their natural abilities are like. What's important is that you try your best and have a willingness to learn.

Magitech.... So even someone like me - can use magic? I want to learn healing spells and protection ones. [ The idea of it - delighted her. She wanted nothing more than to help others and if she could learn how to heal people 'in real life.' Then she excitedly will spend hours trying to learn such a thing. ]

If it's magitech, that sounds perfect, actually.

( not that he knows what that entails for clamor but, like, the word itself seems like enough of a giveaway as to what it is. )

Even if not all of us have the potential to cast magic, if the few people who can are able to make some kind of charms or tools for us, then it could play a big part in keeping everyone safe. If there's anything I can do to help, I'd be willing to put in some work to make this happen.

That's the idea! If you're willing to help, I'm willing to teach. [and he realizes at this point they hey maybe he should start a list, pulling out the notebook to put down both Amami and Nanami...]

I can't promise how effective it'll be since I can't use any magic myself yet... but! I'm sure someone here will have a knack for it. There are plenty of beginner-friendly projects we can start with.
