It's time for another FAMILY MEETING!!

[There's a sign posted on 3-C on the 27th ~~the future is now~~ indicating that it's that time of month! That's right, it's time for the family meeting!

Lucifer is in charge this time and he is holding a whip, so please behave yourselves or you might get a warning crack near your head. Or don't behave yourselves. He's not your dad. He will, however, try his hardest to keep you all on track.

As Lucifer is also one of the Team ~~Moms~~ Dads, he's also made everybody lunch as he is wont to do. The rather fancy-looking food is set up on a couple of desks at the front of the classroom to peruse at your leisure. There are cookies and muffins as well, but please try to eat a real lunch instead of subsisting off of sweets entirely.

On the whiteboard, Lucifer has written the following topics & talking points that he'd like to discuss with everybody, and has requested that you all raise your hands so that this can be done in an orderly fashion... ~~Good luck, Luci.~~

Who is missing? Who is confirmed deceased?
The gladiatorial battle — is it possible that those who died previously may come back to inflict further harm? Any guesses?
What the Hell was going on last weekend?
The void in the auditorium is infinite
Results of last month's investigations that we agreed on doing
The imps plaguing the school have been removed (thank you to Clamor for his assistance)
Have we discovered anything new?

Last but not least, the final bullet is one hundred percent something that Lucifer clearly wants to do, and it reads simply:

[ However the mention of Chihiro draws them to pause on whatever bit of excitement that Nanami potentially felt. Like a whiplash of feelings, this translates into Nanami immediately going indifferent. A neutral sort of response to things such as this. Whenever situations seemed bleak or wrought with issues, Nanami immediately responds very calmly. ]

... I did see Chihiro-san not long ago, but lets keep our spirits up for now about it and focus on what we can handle for the time being. If you want we can go look for him together after this?

[But why though, says Noah's brain shortly after it does the above button mash, but he follows her directions because Nanami seems like the type of person he shouldn't be arguing with.]

Tidying them gently to and fro, she understands that it is stressful. understands that he had so much on his mind and although there is a lot of chaos going on around them currently. Nanami is accustomed to such a notion and feels that, it is only a sign of the fact that they are all going through this together so she says. ]

[Noah's in full breakdown mode, so he's not necessarily aware of what closely-guarded secrets he's spilling when he continues,]

[The babbling is completely illogical at this point. He should know better, but he's so damn anxious all the time. He's always been convinced his existence is a burden or a curse, after all.]

[ Fingers gently affix to locks of his hair, when he speaks she realizes theres a lot of their life including the others within this room. To which they know so little about... one another, they needed more time to truly fester in one anothers feelings. Hope.... ]

... If someone truly loved you then, even if they died they would have wanted the best of you. You cant help when someone loses their life, but you can know that when someone passes away that you know loved you. They wouldn't feel the same way you are talking about them right now.

Komaeda said... something like that, but... he kept saying that those that died in my stead are "stepping stones". That's not how I want to see anyone.

[At least the hand in his hair is starting to calm him down a bit, little by little. Still, Noah has never learnt to accept death. It's not something he's ever been capable of.]

[ Theres a genuine dry sigh of disappointment. Lately little by little, she's been overwhelmed with the feeling of annoyance over Komaeda. His words effect all of the people he speaks too because he is confident in his beliefs. People like this, who are confident can easily dissuade those younger and with weaker stances on how they view the world.

Fingers would pause as they dressed his locks of hair nimbling. Evident of her small bit of annoyance demonstrated. However she continues tidying his locks of hair and smoothing them with gentle touches. ]

... Komaeda says things that he doesnt understand. I dont know why everyone keeps listening to him when its more then obvious hes more unadjusted to the world then anyone of us... Just because he knows what he believes in. Doesnt mean what it is, is right.

I am sorry that he said things that made you feel like you had to believe him but you really dont. Komaeda believes in what he does because that's how he is as a person, and there is contradictions in everything that he says to the point even sometimes I don't understand.

But. [ He states... ] Even I know if he doesnt believe in that, then his life would crumble apart... Ne, Noah. What do you believe in?

[What does he believe in? That's a difficult question, but...]

I... I believe that everyone should get to live, as long as they're not hurting others. And... I believe that no one should have to sacrifice themselves if there are other solutions available to them.

[Not even going to touch on the fact that he has, on multiple occasions, been the self-sacrificing sort of person he despises so much.]

Beyond that, I don't... I don't know. I believe the world is cold and callous, too. It's... conflicting?

[ Nanami cups both of Noahs cheeks and her thumbs run circles around them. While her fingers delicately drum along his jawline so they can both look at one another. With her looking down at him.]

... That is a wonderful thing to believe in. The world is only cold and callous because we forget that we have each other. Even if its hard to show one another appreciation and think about the future, or what it holds.... It's important to keep believing and pushing for it. The world you want to believe in is right, but you dont and shouldn't have to get there with sacrificing others. Or hurting each other meanwhile.

[ Nanami says rather generally, because in the end what Noah believes in has to be something he commits to and understands on his own. However, it is also true that the feelings he has over a future where the world isnt so cold. Is important, definite, and the meaning of well bidden hope.

Something like what Nagito believes in, is only circumstantial and wrong. Cruel as it kisses the ordeal that the world works only in cruel ways. When in reality one should always work for the betterment of one another or each other. Forgiveness is important, but reconciling with the wrong doings of the worlds and moving forward. Is far more imperative, especially to characters like Noah, Komaeda, Add, or even Legion. Whom all come from broken and cruel worlds. ]

Yeah...

[Normally, having his face grabbed would cause him to freeze up. Most actions revolving around touch cause him to freeze completely, like he can't process it — because truthfully, he can't, having never been shown affection in his life. When it was given, it was fake, a lie, a false memory or an illusion.

But here, he's not frozen up, maybe because he's already mid-mental breakdown and he's not really processing much. He looks like he wants to cry, but he doesn't, not yet; Noah makes a point in avoiding crying in front of others if he can.]

I don't want... I don't want people to suffer. Here, or back home. It's up to me to fix that. There's too much suffering in the world, it's not fair.

... Noah-san you cant do this on your own. Taking the burden of everyones feelings and responsibilities for yourself when you are so young. Is not okay. You only take care of yourself and your own burdens..

[ She says softly understanding that these feelings possibly hail from a deep anxiety. ]

You should.... Think about your burdens first before trying to help others with their own. We are all here for each other, even if it doesnt feel that way sometimes... This place I am sure, makes everyone feel the same.

I cannot make any promises about how soon it might be, but rest assured, we are doing what we can to make that a reality.

[He does notice Nanami's shift, although he can't perceive why. Of course, it seems that they befriended each other, so that must be it. He gives a firm nod.]

I see. I- I certainly am trying to be optimistic about this! It is too soon to jump to any conclusions. Now there's a good idea, let us take a good look around after this! [Although, as much as Ishimaru's trying to be optimistic, he knows that Chihiro's absence from this meeting alone is a telling and troubling sign.]

mmm!

[ Nanami looks over at Ishimari and then speaks again. ]

Do you need help with anything else? You dont have any suspects of who you think we should talk to do you?

Ah... No, I'm afraid not. I don't happen bear any specific suspicions at the moment.

I will be content with what you have already offered! Helping me to look for Fujisaki-kun is already something I will appreciate a lot.
