It's time for another FAMILY MEETING!!

[There's a sign posted on 3-C on the 27th the future is now indicating that it's that time of month! That's right, it's time for the family meeting!

Lucifer is in charge this time and he is holding a whip, so please behave yourselves or you might get a warning crack near your head. Or don't behave yourselves. He's not your dad. He will, however, try his hardest to keep you all on track.

As Lucifer is also one of the Team Moms Dads, he's also made everybody lunch as he is wont to do. The rather fancy-looking food is set up on a couple of desks at the front of the classroom to peruse at your leisure. There are cookies and muffins as well, but please try to eat a real lunch instead of subsisting off of sweets entirely.

On the whiteboard, Lucifer has written the following topics & talking points that he'd like to discuss with everybody, and has requested that you all raise your hands so that this can be done in an orderly fashion... Good luck, Luci.
  • Who is missing? Who is confirmed deceased?
  • The gladiatorial battle — is it possible that those who died previously may come back to inflict further harm? Any guesses?
  • What the Hell was going on last weekend?
  • The void in the auditorium is infinite
  • Results of last month's investigations that we agreed on doing
  • The imps plaguing the school have been removed (thank you to Clamor for his assistance)
  • Have we discovered anything new?

Last but not least, the final bullet is one hundred percent something that Lucifer clearly wants to do, and it reads simply:
  • Instating a chore chart

So that's... fun.]

Let's try to keep this more orderly than the last one, shall we?

[And yes, the cardboard baby jail is set up in the back of the classroom! Naughty children go to cardboard baby jail. Naughtier children get a whip cracked at them. Have fun, everyone!]

[[OOC: The usual rules of the family meeting posts apply, which means threadjacking/general mingling is allowed and encouraged! Please remember to only share information your character discovered ICly to avoid metagaming. Also no Lucifer will not actually cause physical harm to anyone's characters with the whip unless player permission is granted, I'm not as psychotic as he is, don't worry about it.]]

She doesn't give a shit about me, she just wants to preach and condemn people's actions to show off how much better she is than the rest of us.

( she scoffs. )

I'm not gonna listen to a piece of metal talk to me about what I can and can't get hurt and upset about. And how is that discouraging? She literally said we're gonna let the guy who killed four people off the hook 'coz he claims he was possessed. Anyone can feel free to go kill now, 'cause if they claim they weren't in their right mind, they're gonna get people to believe them on their word alone.

... Thank you Legion. Rika are you alright? I'm surprised you are still here.

[ After stabbing Saihara and seeing that it ultimately hurt them heavily. Rika is young - fifteen to be exact, and her feelings of anger become volatile. Just like everyone elses here, lost in how she feels rather then thinking about things fit what they are. ]

... Natasume killed someone and what they did is unforgivable. [ This is fact. ] It is wrong, but he brought up a fact that possession pushed him over the edge and this is important to talk about more than trying to decide what to do with him when all you want to do is kill him for what was done.... How is that going to solve what happened to him or who he killed?

What, you want me gone?

( she might be volatile, but it's a different side of the conversation that apparently needs to be had — there's no debate without two people of opposing opinions, right? except...

this really isn't the best time for a debate, considering saihara needs to be awake for it. )

We can consider it after Sai-kyun wakes up. He solved the crimes, so he should be leading this conversation. ( that's what she thinks. ) I won't say what I've done was smart, but... none of you can ever hope to understand me. You didn't just lose two important people. You're bystanders, commenting on the situation like you have any right to talk about any of them, like you give a shit what happened to Chiakkin and Senacchi... It makes me sick.

( but, sure, fine. she'll remove herself from this before she actually gets upset all over again. it took enough effort to calm her down — she'll just make a face, shrug and turn away, wandering off. )

(They growl at the metal comment, lights on their head flashing red, but then Nanami steps in.)

If you had succeeded, and it were proven later that he was possessed, would you be glad you had killed him?

(They're utterly unimpressed by Rika, and in fact, could care less about her distress at this point, beyond it being something to factor into overall chances of survival. Racist, murderous, childish brat.)

... No, your words matter but I had thought you were with Saihara and getting healed. You don't look well.

[ She comments with concern in her voice. Debates is not what is going on here a redirect of conversation allowing the members who aren't the main individuals apart of what are going on. Have conservation to understand the situation better, to come upon a platform and have better vice to hold an opinion. As opposed to looking from the outside in, they are all connected to one another whether Rika wishes to believe or not. Rephrimend and peoples belief DO NOT wait for everyone.

She knows that, this isn't an otome game or visual novel. Where conversations can be timegated or picked up leisurely whenever YOU find it convient.

Saihara got hurt but Rika, people saw. People who already wanted Natsume dead SAW, was this what they are suppose to leave off? Was this how it was supposed to end?

No.

Conversation is open and malleable, so long as someone had the voice to playform more viable issues going on. Such as the deeply rooted mystery of each of these killings and how it happened. ]

... No one person is trying to force understanding of you, [ Despite Rika doing that right now and slapping accusations upon Nanami or everyone here. It's obvious she's seen a lot more of this place then she is admitting to. Which again - how many others have seen just as much? How many people here are also like Rika waiting to explode in the right moment? Avoidance, and making sure people know regardless of the killing and what is going on. There is a line of trust somewhere or help. ] Rika. None of us can imagine what you've gone through.

[ Rika has battle scars for it. The comments of slapping Nanami with "You don't know what it's like." Is strange and unneeded, because the same can be said of Saihara room were just a detective looking into the situation and that their inability to come forward about it with Komaeda. Was one of trying to contend that your friend of a murderer and other IMPORTANT issues to talk about like what is going on now.

Meaning Rika hypocrisy over who they believe should be involved is strange and foriegn to Nanami when they are all here stuck in this school. As the next POTENTIAL victim.

Shes knows Rika is angry and has so much within her chest to let out. Ot is what it is and she is glad Rika can seperate and calm down from it. ]

( she shoots nanami one last glance over her shoulder for that, almost grateful. yeah, nobody can come close to understanding how she feels — she doesn't expect anyone to, nor want to be seen on a deeper level, anyway, and... still, it hurts to feel as if she's alone in her anger.

people care about lives lost, but not about whose — mostly numbers, survival, their own chances. she'd be more open to a conversation about preventing potential death after she calmed down, though; of course she doesn't want anyone else to die, she doesn't want to lose anyone else, but... the grief that stirs in her heart is still too fresh to really think about the future. about what can be done. about what she could've done better, or different, to prevent it.

so she walks away — if people want to keep discussing it, they can, but ultimately, nanami's right. she should... go change out of these clothes and just be alone for a while, probably. )
