I. GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE

[ His world realigns itself slowly; head underwater, breathing slow and even. Akira is standing in the hallway with no memories of coming here -- at least not immediately, but when it comes together in pieces he feels as if his body was being controlled by an entirely different person. That was his first concern and primary catalyst of his anger that begins to spread from the back of his head and down his neck.

The sound of glass shattering has him instinctively flexing his fingers. Ensuring he can move, tensing up the muscles of his arms, and sighing out a breath akin to relief when he looks behind his shoulder and sees no immediate danger.

Then again, when expecting a ghost, how knows if they're there or not. Akira has learned by now to be cautious even in his own house. ]

... Dammit. [ He looks at his hands, notices there's no blood. That memory wasn't his own... so was it something that had to deal with his bloodmetry?

Akira takes an unconscious step forward, hearing the sound of glass beginning to crack underneath his weight before he lifts his foot. He pauses, canting his head slightly once he notices the broken test tube on the floor and clicks his tongue. ] Who the fuck is throwing this shit around?

[ Because obviously HE didn't drop it -- which means you, unlucky passerby, are the prime subject. ]

[ Later into the evening Akira can be found by the vending machine. At this point he's probably overheard the talk of a murder, and assumes that this place is some sick place in hell that Kakuya has dragged him into, so he's just... mad. As per usual.

He's trying to get a drink and realizes that he must have been sleeping every day since he's been here during class cause he has virtually no merit points. He kicks the glass, getting annoyed, and just as he's about to turn and go away he pushes a random button and this drops.

He holds the drink his hand, a look of absolute disgust evident in his face as he hears someone approaching. His expression doesn't change, but he's quick to extend his arm out and hand the beverage off to the next person: ] Here.

[ Just give him a couple minutes and he'll arrive... looking pissed off, sliding the door open with the intention of slamming it. He spots Rika, noting that she's probably the only person in the room and nods his head towards her. ]

You the person I was talking to on here? [ He lifts up his hand, showing his PDA. ]

( wow, calm down there, big guy. she's still in a bad state and even worse mood, and the meeting is supposed to start later, and she doesn't want to go, doesn't want to look at people's faces, but... ugh.

[ He doesn't even take it as an insult, just nods his head: ] Yeah.

[ Akira blinks thrice, evidently confused. ]

Huh? [ It's the first sound that leaves his mouth, collecting himself. ] Do they like... send you into a different world? I'm just curious cause it may be possible that a ghost has managed to follow me all the way to fuckin' nowhere, apparently.

Kinda... when you bleed on the school surface, you get sent into a void version of the school. Like... a weird hallucination, but it feels super real. And if you break a mirror when you're in there, you get out. ( she reaches into her pocket and pulls a small shard out, handing it to him.

It's gonna recover every time you crush it in the void, 'cause things go back to how they were before you entered, so it's pretty much a perma ticket out. But, uh... a ghost?

[ Well... admittedly, he's never been inside the Realm of the Dead, and so Akira can't determine whether or not they're similar or different. He's stuck only assuming that it's another fucked up secret that's been revealed here; something twists in his stomach, a familiar sensation that tells him to be that much more wary.

He extends his arm, stepping closer to grab the shard of glass out of her hand. He examines it like it's something different -- something new. He holds it in his palm like it suddenly reflects another person's face, so transfixed that he almost doesn't hear her explanation. ]

A void... is that the name of it, or just somethin' y'all came up with on the fly? [ Just to clear himself of suspicions. ] Yeah. A ghost in the mirror that's trying to work it's way out... It's a long story.

I think... it's something people came up with, but... it's 'cause there's this darkness swallowing the school, auditorium-first. Don't walk too close to that, or you'll die.

( at least that's what she thinks happens to people who fall into that void. well... not much else to do there, since they said it's apparently bottomless.
