( lilith would rage and then cry- for nene, it's the opposite. she feels, she hurts, she breaks... and when she's done, she'll stand up, and she'll break free of prisons, she'll shout down her enemies, she'll rage against everything keeping her down. but yogen hasn't given her a chance to breathe.

every time she thinks she can stand again, it punches down even harder than the last.

in a few weeks time she'll realize she's had enough on every level. but for now, she's a just-barely sixteen year old girl who wants to curl up in her parents' arms and cry until she passes out. but they aren't here, and lucifer's taken her hand, and if there are witnesses for a moment of childishness so be it.

as she sits down, she looks up at him and nods slowly. of course he's gonna make a cake- if she wasn't so heartbroken, maybe she'd laugh. )
