( it's a beautiful sunday — the sun is out, the birds are chirping, the non-transfer students are nowhere to be found, sans a few tangled up in weekend clubs, and she's standing in the courtyard, watching the small... boy... in front of her with a bright smile.

this is the first time she's actually seeing him outside of network insanity — he looks... unassuming, at best, but a minute of a conversation is plenty enough to learn otherwise. well, if you ask her, size's got nothing to do with whether someone's shitty or not — being 4'11'' herself...

anyway. )

You finally got your spear back!! ( excitedly, she reaches out to grab it. give it bitch, you promised. )

[ It takes Dito a good second to realize who she is, but the mention of his spear makes it immediately more obvious. He...didn't expect her to be this short, but whatever. He's got a few inches on her, so that helps when he reaches out in turn to grab at the top of her head and keep her pushed back when she makes a reach for his spear hanging at his side in its scabbard (even though he takes a step back himself in surprise). ]

Hey, what the hell--

[ Don't just grab for people's stuff??

His other hand moves to grab its hilt defensively, like he's about to pull it out any second now. ]

( not how he's not expecting people to be short while being short himself?? anyway, she huffs when he grabs her head and keeps reaching for the weapon, curious. it... definitely does Not look like anything momoe's used, hers being more of a... pole, really, but still. at least it seems to be able to be wielded by someone short easily — )

You said you'll let me see it! ( she huffs, like his sudden protests are somehow offensive, and stops pushing against his hand for a moment.

[ He still keeps his hand up for a minute, narrowing his eyes at her.

He just got this back, after all. But it's not like it's easily breakable or anything. Not to mention he's never really encountered anyone who was even interested or fascinated by his spear -- it's just a weapon, for the most part. Everyone has a weapon. Even if he is kind of fond of his; it's got his fucky little panda charm on it and everything.

She's so small, though. Dito wonders if she'll even be able to handle it. Maybe it's the sadist part of him that thinks this is a good idea. ]

Haha, fine. Catch.

[ He pushes her head back even further, trying to back her up a step or two before he tosses his spear at her.

If she dies she dies!!! ]

( sort of. this is a lie, mostly — she's completely fine sticking with swords, and it's what she's used to. spears look cool in theory, but in practice, she's... short, and honestly, it'd be uncomfortable carrying one around, or wielding one in battle.

momoe can do it, because she's taller and built better — but rika's not against trying it on this little asshole?

so when he pushes her, she stumbles back, extending her hands forward to clumsily catch the spear. is it still sheathed? i'm assuming so — )

Is it comfortable for you? To use it for fighting. ( he's small... but anyway, she looks at the sheath curiously, noting the little panda. surprisingly cute. )

[ It is about Dito's own height, but the design is slim and convenient to toss around. For him, anyway -- and he's not human. The spear's vibes are probably rancid too, considering that it harbors a bulk of Dito's twisted viewpoint of things within it. Rubbed off, like a foul aura that lingers. Every weapon has its own story, and his is no exception. It is still sheathed, so Rika will most likely get a firsthand look at that whenever she decides to unsheathe it, considering its length is covered in dried blood that Dito hasn't bothered to wash off from it.

It came back to him like that, but he doesn't care. Hell, it was probably like that when he already left it...or lost it... Things have been taken from him, including his memories at one point, and he's not sure how to gauge where things "are" before they are returned to him. But he's at least satisfied with his shit getting back to him. It's not like he has that many possessions anyway, but he likes his spear. Thus, the charm and everything.

He crosses his arms as he regards Rika with his spear, thinking that even though she's close to his height she really isn't in any position to wield it well. She's a little shorter, but mostly she just doesn't seem the type. She's even holding it awkwardly, which puts Dito a little more off guard. ]

Yeah. Suuuuper easy.

[ He scoffs lightly. What, like it's hard? ]

I cut through soldiers with that thing like butter. I'm probably stronger than you, though.
