[ Okay well she notices he's thinking, noticing he's jumping around, noticing hes - not .... Right?

Komaeda's never been right in the head, from her knowledge of his history from preestablished memories. Was that he had everything bad happen to him, and yet for all of it he continued to still remain. Continued to still be apart of life - continued to change the world around him. He was a wonderful enigma that someone who were like Mona, invested in the conception of Fate and Destiny. Felt that he were someone that.... Often would randomly and most utterly horrifically - fuck with it.

She didn't know how or why, just that it was the truth. ]

No one needs to care for astrology. [ Mona says simply, a bit away from him having started her walk down the hall toward the lockers. Looking him over as he finally found it in himself to collect his thoughts... Collect who he was in that moment. Her face softens, and she is glad for him. However what he says... Makes her.... Pout.

Clutch tightly to the book in her hands, against her chest. Slamming a foot down against the floor as her pigtails bob. ] You! You! Don't know that, I can HANDLE myself quite well actually.

[ Mona looks away heaving a huff. ] It sounds as if she is someone who is as blunt and brutish as myself. Either we both understand and we get along, or it will be an issue where one of the other has to back down. You are right about it maybe becoming a problem, but I am not someone who needs chaperoning. Unless you want to come and join the conversation for yourself.

Well... yes, she is. A few here believe she's cruel, but others find her a pleasure to be around.

( komaeda's more the latter, and that's because of what she was able to do for ishimaru in giving him a second chance to show his hope, and now he's part of the student council. sending her directly to maya probably isn't the best idea, but he doubts ishimaru probably knows anything about the dates in regards to the school. it's something he thinks about as they walk forward, and while he listens to her, his eyes lift to look at her from the side, watching as her pigtails bounce. )

Are you going to lose yourself speaking with her if she says things you dislike?

( he asks, his eyes slowly blinking, and it's hard to tell if it's because he's tired or he's having trouble making conversation. sadly, komaeda's never been good at it, so he's silent when mona speaks, allowing her to say her part if she wants. he always politely waits his turn, seeing no need to overstep where he doesn't belong — she's thinking, figuring out what she wants to do. he does feel like he can add something on at the end, and maybe he's a little lucky considering if mona truly wants to meet her. )

I do have to give something back to her, so you could accompany as I do that...

[ Cruel? Mona thinks its just people do not like what they hear, and discern their own feelings for it. No matter, Mona adjusts toward the door heading into the courtyard. She looks back at him, watching him look present but not entirely there. Was his illness that bad already? Was he already far gone...? Maybe she should look into reading his stars -

little does she know thats absolutely the worse idea. ]

Its more if she doesn't like what I have to say, at the end I suppose only fate can tell. Are you coming outside or staying here? Regardless, when you decide to go have me come along then.

You've already drawn me out, so I should come... for a bit, I'll return once our business is done.

( talking about business being done, they should actually meet up with maya sooner than later, considering when summer break happens... they won't see her at all. that'll ruin all of mona's chances too, and not having her scrying tools... she'll miss out. )

[ Well if Komaeda is gunna join her then, she'll just push against the door and walk outside. She's already pulling out her instrument, which looks like that but with a Alidade along it. A place for her to look through with the instrument in hand, a bunch of paper work she puts on the floor immediately, a calculator, a bunch of pencils... The list doesn't end. It will take her a minute once shes found a good spot past the tree in the court yard.

She unveils a scroll that has the constellations all properly on it. Then she has white paper she places over it, that is the tracing paper. Everything is properly pinched with pins and she puts her bag on one end. With Astronomy books on the other. Then if that wasn't done with, Mona plucks several rulers of all types. Including drafting compasses, winged rulers, and ALL The likes along her work space. It takes about 10 minutes or so to accumulate the area into a little science space.

She doesn't even speak to Komaeda during this, plucking her astrolabe and with the sun slowly setting in the distance... Beginning to view the stars and begin her arithmetic for the night. Every now and then she scribes upon the tracing paper, cataloguing the distances and movements of the stars. ]

( it's gotten hotter, his hand raises to pinch at the collar of his shirt so that as he pulls it, a puff of air goes up to cool him off. not that it does much to save him from the heat, but his already cool body can manage a little well than others within the humidity of the night — the stars are all together, crowded, and they glow to themselves, for themselves, and mona watches them while she charts.

komaeda kneels down, his eyes stare at the ground first, and then he looks up &mash; there's this uncomfortable feeling while watching them. he knows why, but he makes no visible reaction, or says a thing, and instead he swallows down the saliva in his throat as he thinks. the immense out of good luck that would come from something unfortunate having, and he looks at mona when he thinks this way. )

[ There's a tiny little lantern light, like for camping by the charts as well. She looks over to him as he's laid there hot and suffering from the muggy heat. Something she finds no issue with, as the late nights outside in this sort of weather. Do little to deter her, and her passion for science. As she has in the past, walked along the Deserts or Forests of Sumeru, the hot summers of Liyue, or even when Mondstat itself gets its moments of foggy rains. As someone who lived most of her life, off of the world weather like this. It was merely just an insufferable truth. That she merely had to accept for what it were.

That... Well, I can't tell you the product of the future here other than there is a mystery to unveil. When I look for an answer the way that I do here, everything is generalized. Then again the future can be inconsistent except for moments of Fate, which are predestined and inescapable... [ Mona kneels against the floor and writes something down. ] I say that, but.... It seems as if there's this repetitive manner. Also the stars... The stars seem... Repetitive as well? I don't really understand what that means or why. So don't ask me just yet, or about the reason for it.

Instead, you can ask me something that can have a more coherent answer. [ Mona looks over to him now, wondering what someone like him would even ask. ]

For instance, I can read by cross referencing your birthday with the planets around this solar system. As well as the constellations within your month, and delegate a truth from it. As it is, I can tell you are in a situation that you put yourself into that was... Ideally, successful - about... 2 Months ago? Though, I haven't figured it out yet what it is, not that that is important right now.
