hmmm...the hospitality leaves a lot to be desired. it's such a shame -- i have a bad back and there's simply nothing to be done with the way things are now.
[please...]
someone should at least tell me a bedtime story so i'll have some sweet dreams tonight. tell me a story about something that's happened to you in this place.
alternatively: what's your reason for living? or what does life mean to you?
[what better way to get to know his fellow students than to ask deep questions in the middle of the night because why not]

[what an honest and kind person...
poor nanami. josh is anything but, even if he's being mostly civil at the moment.]
it's in human nature to struggle, but there are those who put more hurdles in front of others just to see what they'd do. to test their strength, if you will...or hope, as someone i spoke to above was telling me about.
because if you don't test that, humans would stagnate, wouldn't they?

Like a boss battle in a game that you can't defeat because you didn't accumulate enough exp in battle to overcome. Life isn't a game so we don't have to worry about something like that ever happening, because life isn't so black and white where we only go one direction. Or have one boss to fight in order to get to the next point in life.
[ Or well, that's how she sees it. ]

that's my question.
in a way, though, you can go back and get more "experience" as you said to overcome. that's growth as a person, right?
[is he being an ass or does he mean to be contrary we just don't know!!]

... There is always conflict, that's normal... People oppose one another naturally... Because what they cant understand, they find problem with?
[ Nanami is looking over her text trying to make her notion more clear - but she isn't programmed with such in depth construct of philosophy. At the same time, her understanding of humanity is very potent and her appreciation or love of her friends who brought the end of the world. Give her this sense of introspection she feels she can commit to. As well as the memories that make her who she is... ]
A person doesn't need to destroy something else in order to gain a new experience. Or make something new. If we believed in one another more, and saw past our own differences.... Even used our differences to learn more about the world, and each other. Then we wouldn't have to worry about anything.
A persons difference can shed light on new things? Trying to work around with what we know, and understand is possible. Trying to over come our struggles is a natural thing for us... Well I just mean that, no one should have to forcibly struggle to become a new person. You can be a new person or a better person, just by taking the time to learn about the world around you and want to change.
Those who can chose to do good. Those sorts of people are very amazing, because I feel like they understand.
[ Like Hinata. ]

your words remind me of a dear old friend of mine.
[oh god is he getting Gay in the chat rn]
the only difference is that he took the struggles to change. but he'd probably believe what you do now. that's probably why we can't quite see eye-to-eye, but that just makes it more interesting, don't you think? not everyone ends up with the same opinions.

I don't think its interesting at all, playing with peoples feelings, and toying with each other like that, just to see what will happen at the end of it all. It isn't okay with me, it's why I'm going to work as hard as I can. No matter what, to see to it if we can all work together despite our differences.

i'd like to see how far you go with that mentality. will adversity only make that idea stronger like my friend, or will it break you?
i guess time will tell, hm?
