August Event
Please let August be better than July I'm begging
✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the storeis currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

Members: Add (taking over for club president because who's gonna stop him), Zero, Komaeda, Senku, Tali'Zorah, Shin
Summary Proof:
- Add has built himself a functional taser (will demonstrate if needed!!!!), and does repairing Komaeda's arm count as a club project? sure, why not.
- Collab(?) with ethics club to give their lie detector a shock feature that electrocutes the person taking the test if they lie. Actual accuracy of the device has not yet been improved, so I guess try not to be nervous about the possibility of being shocked or you'll definitely get shocked. They will ask for volunteers and pick the most anxious person in the room they can convince.
- Senku has been working on a text-to-speech program for Helena's PDA, because there are some sane people in this club. Please appreciate him.
- An assortment of random electronics that Add/Senku have probably repaired just for funsies. Look at all these essential services they're providing, you'd be crazy not to approve their club again!!
- Finally, Add has been working on repairing Ball Monokuma with Komaeda, so. He will be turning the killer trash-throwing ball robot on, showing how they've managed to understand and modify its programming enough to make it docile....... and then show that they can turn that off, by allowing it to go fucking apeshit on the room for a minute or two (severity depends on where this takes place like... if it's their club room they're presenting in he won't let ball monokuma do much if any damage since that's their shit in there, but anywhere else he'll just let this robot go fucking nuts ripperoni please don't kill them maya).
Thread Proof: July Mingle which has Many threads in itbasically if you stop funding their club he's gonna set the robot loose on the school again this might be a veiled threat.
Gardening Club!
Members: Nene Yashiro, Lucifer, Natsume Sakasaki, Hajime Hinata, Yuzu Hiiragi, Stephanie Meanswell, Crona Gorgon, Add, Shinobu Kocho
Summary Proof:
Nene will ... 'happily' showcase the growth of the various plants, ranging from the older blooms (her seeds from Kazuki) to the new sprouts, and a record of their care. As Ishimaru's checked in on the gardening club several times, he can vouch for the diligence in teaching new gardeners how to plant and care for their seeds and proper upkeep on growing plants, from monitoring their sunlight, water and food to pruning away dead leaves. She's also pleased to report that even non-members of the club are willing to come to them for help with their plants and advice. she's goin thru it ori

Summary Proof: occult club isnt a real club (BOOO) but the cultists work hard for us so i think it's fair we treat it like one anyway.
Clamor and Lucifer are just gonna make something cool for the cultists to share (help idk how many cultists there even are, sharing is caring, they'll do requests if everyone wants a thing of their own its fine) and if they wanna see what magic-stuff they've been up to then y'know, they're always welcome to drop in... BUT presented to the little cult group:
- Three (cursed) necklaces!! All of them are on plain ropes or whatever else would be easy to find in the art room I suppose. Hanging on each necklace is an unpolished rock, which has been cut down a bit to a reasonable necklace-size and attached with a small jewellery hook.
- The feldspar necklace will inflict a curse that makes the wearer meow like a cat, either preventing them from talking at all or forcing them to end all their sentences in nya. Lasts for a few hours after removing the necklace.
- The nephelinite necklace dispels weak curses and hexes that the wearer is under, including the feldspar necklace's curse. Probably takes a few seconds to work, and if you're using it a lot it needs some recharge time in between.
- The hornfels necklace has a minor enchantment on it that draws in positive energy and repels negative energy. It's not exactly a protective charm, but it does act as something of a mood booster and help with concentration while worn, and may provide some minor protection against mental attacks that target emotions.
- THE CATCH: none of these necklaces are labelled. Instead, included is a short quiz that lists the effects on one side and the names of the rocks on the other, plus some red herring answers like "makes you feel like bugs are crawling on you but there are no bugs". Can YOU identify and match each necklace correctly??? also includes some ROCK FACTS about each rock, like how feldspar apparently "eases menstruation and urges you to participate in conscious contraception". If they hand their quizzes in they might get a gold star for it.
