August Event
Please let August be better than July I'm begging
✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the storeis currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

Apparently they don't appreciate window shopping, unfortunately for Minato who does not own a PDA and who spent 9,999,999 yen last month at the host club buying snacks. ]

[ MINATO-KUN... it's okay you're both men of many talents, I'm sure you can find a way to make enough money to let summer happen... except judging by Akira's dark expression he's clearly broke too. Since he just got here and all and he needs to use what points reside on his PDA to feed himself. He won't... let this be the end for them... even if he has to topple this capitalist system... for now though, let's not worry about that and just focus on how to live their best lives without regrets with what resources they do have. ]
... Well, one loss can't chain us down - summer is the peak of our youth, after all. [ One finger pointed upwards thoughtfully, only Akira could look 100% serious having this conversation with a guy he's probably just met for the first time, but he feels a kindred soul! A bond!

So he's going to forage whatever is the first thing he can find in the grass, a weed or a dandelion but anyway it's got a small flower and it's going right in the side of Minato's hair; Akira's tucking it there just above his ear, before taking a step back to admire is work. Sighing... it really does remind him of Hawaii... ]
Wow... you're the most handsome guy on this beach, it's almost criminal. With legs like that, bet you could carry anyone you wanted back to your place.
[ Somehow says all that in a low, completely serious tone of voice. He also can't see his legs since you know... Minato's wearing pants, but no point in practicing if it's not believable. ]

Anyway you can't give Akira an open chance to something and not expect him to take it, so his expression goes dark - far too serious, honestly, it's the only way he can hide that he's sweating a little but he'd never back down from something like this in his lifetime. His feet pose themselves, staggered and ready to pounce - before he takes off, making a short jog to close the distance between the two of them, before shamelessly throwing an arm around Minato's shoulders and jumping into his arms.
At least he can hold on for dear life when this goes bad. ]
