August Event
Please let August be better than July I'm begging
✽ Due to 10+ classes raising their ranks last month, ALL characters have access to the courtyard via the door in the locker area and the windows facing the courtyard.
✽ Characters with 1-10 tallies are not able to get any further past the end of the courtyard before they fall unconscious; characters with 10-20 can get halfway to the pool building before the same happens to them; characters with 20+ tallies can reach the pool building but unfortunately, the door is on the other side. There are no windows on the walls, but from the clocktower, characters can see that it has a glass ceiling, though they are unable to see inside.
✽ Outside, there is no breeze, and it occasionally rains ash.
✽ Characters going up to the 4th floor will feel that the door is warm to the touch, and will occasionally open (see: missions)
✽ The student store opens, with the door propped open with a doorstopper. The npc running the storeis currently not interested in conversation, but may be available for threading in the future and is available for threading in the toplevel below. Please see the updated bonus activity page for more information.
✽ Posted on the bulletin board and also handed to each club president before break is the notice that proof of club activity is due at the end of break. Please submit these proofs in the toplevel below.
✽ There is another ad on the bulletin board advertising an exchange student program for the month of October. Applications will be taken until the end of August, and there is a 300 merit point fee. Sister cities include Death City, Devildom, Ishigami Village, Lanling, LazyTown, and Maiami City.

"If he has one"...?
[ What does that mean... If he has a birthday party, or if he lives to see his next birthday? Hmmm ]
Tell me when it is. I won't tell him I know.
no subject
...Saihara-kun is the Ultimate Detective, his hope is really, really bright... Have you seen him?
( talking about someone's birthday? meh. talking about their hope? exciting!!! )
Even when he gets older, his hope will double... age and wisdom... that sort of talent he applies to his every day life we'll get to see more of.
no subject
[ Oh. Hm. Looking a little nervous about that, but they move past it ]
I don't know him. Can you show me?
[ Put a face to a name so they know who to take out. ]
no subject
( ... komaeda saw that. )
Are you okay, you seem a little worried about something?
( ... )
no subject
[ quickly, firmly
Let's get back to the matter at hand: ]
When is his birthday?
no subject
( that's more important than talking about a birthday. :)
he leans forward. )
Why not speak, you shouldn't hide things from me... I thought we were honest.
no subject
Why doesn't Japan have Miranda rights ]
We are. But I don't want people digging up my past. The past is the past.
no subject
There's no need to dig if you tell me, you already told me a bit already...
( he could trade, but it probably wouldn't be fulfilling. ) I use my past to mold my hope, what do you use it for?
no subject
To grow up, I guess... I have to know so much to be able to do things on my own.
no subject
( especially when people would die around you. )
Why are you afraid of someone learning your past... I never knew people were so cautious of it.

Lily left these math problems for you, but anyways, ]
Then tell me about your past.
no subject
544/2.6 = 209.230769231
this is the code to someone's pda or locker, looks at npc-kun's... but they're not a student, looks at rokkun... )
...I was born, ah... it's kind of embarrassing... I don't talk about it to many people.
no subject
I'm not embarrassed. Go on.
no subject
I am, what will you give me for that sort of information?
( he doesn't sound embarrassed at all. )
no subject
I'll give you a hug! It's a real hot commodity these days!
no subject
( why is his locker always fucked up, i feel bad for him... give him a new locker. )
You give those to anyone... my life, was just for me...
( little sad sigh. )
no subject
[ So stop being so selfish and share ]
no subject
( it's his? how can they say it's not!! )
I never had people to stay in it long enough to make it theirs too.
( ? he wants more than a hug. )

no subject
...? Who says?
no subject
[ npc-kun yes ]
no subject

no subject
What else was it like?

[ There's a flicker of a frown, but then it's gone. ]
What'd you guys do?
