Who: EVERYONE
What: FAMILY MEETING
When: 8/4, right after school closes.
Where: Student council room
Warnings: Eventually, probably.

the job puts all of her considerable superspy skills to the test. she knows where every normal kid's locker is; it's easy enough to slip the note into each that morning. if it's someone who she knows would be unable to read the note, she tells them its contents, but keeps her own involvement out of it. lies of omission don't count.
the note reads:]
I have very important information about this place. Please come to the student council room after school ends today.

[and if the text looks just a bit girlier than you'd think she'd write, hey, you don't know her. she's got layers.
either way, it's a pretty interesting proposition: the student council room door is, for the first time in seemingly ever, wide open. anyone can walk inside - and, hopefully, most everyone should. because it's only when Stephanie thinks that she's got enough of them inside that she actually enters the room, shutting the door behind her.

it locks. she grins, spins the key on her finger, and slips it into her pocket.
"How are you supposed to do that with grownups?"
the exact same way, she's decided.]
We haven't had any meetings since, um. Well. The last one. But, I'm pretty sure nobody has no more murders to report, so it shouldn't be too bad, and we can all just focus on the most important task: Getting along! All of us are on the same team, but most of us barely even know each other; some of us even hate some of the others! [SHE SAYS, LIKE SHE DOESN'T ACTIVELY DESPISE KOKICHI] So, I figured we could spend the evening fixing that problem. Play some games, talk about stuff we've discovered since the last time...
And, maybe, if everybody does a really good job, I'll unlock the door!

Nothing! Aren't you excited about the student store? Lose students for a shopping experience... ( nods sagely. ) ...A pretty good exchange if you ask me, maybe it'll have something useful so we can stop the disappearances?

[Like, he knows this school is, uh... a fickle beast, hard to appease, whatever... but the fact that if enough people go missing a store opens up? Lucifer cares very little for that train of thought. Old morality from when he was an angel flickers within him at the mere suggestion that people going missing is worth a store.
The proposal that the store might have something to stop the disappearances is an interesting one, but Lucifer won't count his blessings. Or his curses, for that matter.]

( with a hand raised to his chin, he taps lightly in thought with a small hum, he seems to drift from being heartless to wondering... could it be that reason? this is a give and take world, so who knows? how funny would it be if they sold the deceased's things as well, but that's probably not how the student store works. )
...It is interesting, but if you want my honest opinion. ( ... ) I find it a slow process.

I don't think you realise how finnicky my father is. The littlest thing sends you to Hell these days — not every demon is the soul of a murderer.
[A great deal of them are fallen angels like Lucifer himself, actually, and some are simply created from the fabric of the universe itself like Barbatos was — there's a reason Hell is very full.]
I have no interest in dying here, with you, and I doubt anyone else does as well, but you and your lackeys are more than welcome to make a suicide pact and off yourselves if it means the rest of us can live in peace.

( listen, while komaeda doesn't mind killing himself, he looks around the room in search for the youth. they may be on their own, one-sided terms, but he does think of the other often. )
Sighs... by lackeys... everyone is a child of hope, then you're saying it's fine to kill amongst each other?? As long as it's enough to help motivate you forward, then I'll do what I must.

Lucifer just shakes his head, done with this conversation. He really wants to string Komaeda up from the ceiling like how he does to Mammon, but he doesn't have rope... he files that away for next time. He's going to hang Komaeda by his ankles and let people beat the man to death with baseball bats. They can make a day of it.]
