There will be no tag order, and a mod response will come after at least 6 player responses OR the next day, whichever is earlier. Please note this means that if you're absent for a day or more, the thread will move on, but I will pace things so that people aren't missing large plot beats.
For this mission, characters will icly split into two groups, and there may be an opportunity to remix groups later in the mission.)

Well, he doesn't know. He's never invented talismans before, so maybe relying on that would be too risky...hmm. He'll practice with it at some point but for now? ]
...There aren't very many places for cover in the courtyard, is there? Other than the tree, that is.
I was beginning to consider that while the first group has the spirit's attention, the second group could slowly emerge one by one...but it could be difficult without much to cover their presence.

Hmm... Maybe inside by the windows is good enough, if people stay below the window and out of sight. Like in the nurse's office! You won't be able to see what's going on, but you can hear, and I'll have one of these guys [ gestures to the hitodama floating around him ] stay inside with everybody else while the other stays with me, and that way I can let you know if we need help!

Before we disperse, I think we should discuss the matter Tanaka-san brought up during the family meeting that took place at the end of June. He stressed that we should not “speak our names into the night.” If we can’t do it by name once night falls, how do you all suppose we refer to one another?

( maybe seeing them listen to his advice will make him more amicable to finding a peaceful solution with them? or something like that anyway. )
