[Lucifer is an old, old man. He's visited 1920's New Orleans and he's visited 1990's Japan and he's visited 2021 London, he's seen the Black Death, he watched H.H. Holmes' murder castle be created and to be honest at the time he thought it was fucking hilarious. Ah, the bygone days of watching an 1800s serial killer commit insurance fraud and also kill people... Sigh. Not the point, though.]
The Devildom and the human world are distinctly similar, yes. The only difference really is that the Devildom is slightly technologically behind the human world [they don't have roombas] and is inhabited by more magic users, as well as being in a perpetual state of nighttime. Aside from that, demons do the same things they would if they were mortal — we have restaurants, clubs, bars, the internet, video games... the lot.
Angels were the same way, though... when I was an angel, before I Fell, I somehow had less leisure time than I do when I'm helping run an entire university and babysitting a prince and six siblings...
[God likes to overwork His servants.]
This world, from what I can tell, is likely somewhere within the human world, or some alternate version of it. Interdimensional travel, as you yourself has demonstrated, [smiles at Clamor,] is quite possible. And, if I'm recalling correctly, the year in which Sidney originally lived is roughly one hundred years before the year in which I resided in before my arrival here.
