It's a lazy Sunday, late afternoon with the sun making its way down for the day and no longer shining directly overhead the pool building, lights on inside but only to the hour. For those still in the water this late, they may consider getting out soon so they can dry off and get dressed before they're forced to do it in the dark.

Or maybe they should get out now, because in the deep end, something large and dark is slowly making its way up from the depths.

✽ Hikaru can initially be found exiting the pool building yelling for Lucifer-senpai, and will run to the dorms yelling for Lucifer-senpai, if your character needs a reason to go to the pool building

A monster... Uh, well, are they okay, or did someone else get hurt? Did they see what kind of "monster" it was?

They're okay! And, uh. Seeing as they ran out crying to Lucifer and abandoned anybody else who was in the building at the time, they don't know what happened after. All they can say is that they were going to go swim, and saw something black coming up from the deep end of the pool

Oh, good. Aira guesses he can't blame them for that really. It looks like everyone's headed over there now though, do they... think it's safe to go back and check on what's happening...? (He looks kind of reluctant to actually do this.)

Maybe... Hikaru also looks reluctant, but says that if Lucifer-senpai is there, then things will definitely be okay!! Meanwhile Lucifer is feeding imps to the pool monster

you had too much faith in him unfortunately, you forgot the part where he was talking to it as if it was one of his brother's pet leviathans. Leviathan's pet leviathans. you get it

Oh, okay, well... If Hikaru says Lucifer-senpai will handle things, then they can count on Lucifer-senpai to handle things. Sometimes handling things involves feeding imps to monsters. Do they want to come back to the dorm with him? Maybe they can go back to check on things once they're not, like, barefoot or whatever (and everyone else has figured out if it's safe or not outside the void).

yeah... they trust Lucifer 1000%, let's go back to the dorms and make cocoa and stare out the window to see if everybody comes back alive or not

Hot cocoa intermission time while I go to the store then... This is where the power of friendship begins: screaming about a pool monster and both being too nervous to go check it out themselves.

Clamor wanders out from study hall, sees these two having a hot cocoa break and decides to sit down and join, hey guys what're you talking about... something about a monster?? haha

Oh the hot cocoa party grows... Hikaru-kun said there was a monster in the pool, but apparently "Lucifer-senpai" is handling it, so they're just waiting for everyone to get back...

Nene's going to join them, let's bake those little mini muffins

clamor, thinking about fighting a sea monster for about 0.2 seconds:

yeah let's stay here and make muffins. muffin time. lucifer will be fine.

Nene is here to help with muffins, she needs muffin distraction please she was investigating the body. ... Also if she's super cagey about like, not being seen while washing her hands dwbi. It's fine. You definitely aren't hearing weird clacking noises.
