( it starts out small. a need for comfort food, and a need for something heartfelt but silly and fun, something genuine and kind. ... and, well, she did find a weird. bootleg vhs set of her favorite movie series, hamster space wars. but the dorm is only barely furnished- and it's not like they can just go out and buy a tv or anything. honestly she completely doubts there's even anything beyond the woods. but she remembers a teacher playing the thing and other stuff in the first month of all of this. 

it's so long ago...

but there's a television and a vhs player in the school. and nene... nene's tired and sad and is currently out of fucks to give, so at some point in the day, after everyone else has left, nene has returned to the school and, uh. "borrowed" both things. it's fine. they just have to get it back in by sunday evening. don't worry about it. like, it's definitely heavy but she's a tough cookie who tills soil and everything, and also sara and noah both witnessed everything and are accomplices by default, so they had to help carry things too. 

(they were completely happy to help on both accounts, she asked very nicely.) 

so the "borrowed" television is set up across from one of the larger couches, and the vhs on top of it. she had cookies in the oven, donuts and hot chocolate made and popcorn popped. the common room paintings are covered with sheets of cloth. all that was left was something cozy- but at this point, nene's made so many little cushions and blankets and even cozy pjs that that's super easy. all that was left was letting anyone who wanted to come know too. so at some point in the halls, nene walks down calling out: )

Cartoons in the common room! Bring blankets and stuff! 

( and, so everyone knows what their characters are getting into: hamster space wars is a movie series about different factions of hamsters that have been trying for cross planetary peace for ages now, with a villainous faction having sabotaged the final negotiations so they can control the war from the shadows to make the most money and also get the most seeds (Very Decadent). the first movie follows the main hamster and his little group trying to escape the villains after having witnessed the sabotage, and are trying to avoid assassination and end the war for good. the sequels follow allied factions, with hamster galactic wars being the Thrilling Conclusion. 

it's heartfelt. it's silly. it's very cute. nene loves it. )

[Add doesn't bother replying again, but he is just chilling out in his little corner of the sleepover party, bundled up in his blanket cave. He's expecting Joshua to just... figure out on his own where Add actually is, but at least his glowing eyes are distinctive even when he's hidden.

yeah he's not even gonna like, wave or w/e to make sure he's seen... good luck. or I guess just text him again and listen for the network ping sound that I'm just going to assume it has..]

[well. Joshua sure is having issues locating Add, but the blanket cave does pique his curiosity a little bit here. he puts the search for Add on hold, wondering what kind of person he could terrorize find in such a thing...

only to lift up some of the blankets to find that person. killing two birds with one stone, as it were.]

Oh! It seems my curiosity paid off after all.

[He really, really should've seen that coming, but he hisses like an angry cat when the blanket gets pulled up anyway. Don't expose him to the world like this!!!!

but he did ask Joshua to find him, so... fine, whatever. he yanks the blanket from the other's hands so he can drape it around his shoulders like a cape instead.

anyway, to the point:]

Joshua squats down so that he's even with Add, looking highly amused about the whole cat-hissing thing. but he does always kind of get amused whenever he gets a strange sort of reaction from someone like this...

he holds out his hand, palm facing Add, though he's still kind of bracing for something that might not be too pleasant. he doesn't trust most of the people here as far as he can throw them, but...he still doesn't filter what he says to Add despite this.]

Here, kitty, kitty, kitty...now what gift do you have for me?

but anyway, beneath the cover of the blanketcloak he pulls something from his pocket, then retrieves a smaller something from within that something. his closed hand emerges from the blanket, and into Joshua's palm he drops...

a single tooth.

it's a mature tooth, not a baby tooth, and might still have a bit of blood on it. totally normal.]

[Joshua raises his eyebrow at the tooth that's in his hand, and puts it in his fingers, holding it up so that he can look at it. he looks at Add past it, tilting his head as he speaks.]

Where exactly did this tooth come from? I didn't know you were a dentist.

Let's say... the patient was uncooperative, so we had to take a few for good measure. Restraints made the process much smoother, though. A bit less messy.

[but not by much, considering Dito and Komaeda were involved.]
