he remembers what it was like, at her age, losing someone he looked up to. but the difference here is that he knew exactly where his father went, and what happened afterwards. whether he wanted to or not. it's a blessing and a curse, so he'll crouch more to her height hesitantly, wishing he could do more.]


Well... I mean, this place is pretty weird at times. Someone I was told was dead came right through those front doors not too long ago, see, but she doesn't recognize me at all -- we'd only met once, but it was a pretty big first impression for us both, I think.

So... He might be, even if he doesn't remember you, even if you don't recognize each other. The heart knows best.
