Who: Shin, Subaru, Lucifer, anyone else who wants in on this nonsense really
What: We're turning the pool into (fake?) lava
When: 9/11, Saturday Evening, Same time as the Sleepover
Where: The Pool
Warnings: Mild Burns? The fridge horror of possibly being why a corpse is charred.
So Shin and Subaru had an idea, and they asked dad (Clamor) and dad said no, ask other dad, so then they asked other dad (Lucifer) and are now his problem. Now they're all in the pool, in the dark, about to commit crimes against pool safety.

Lucifer's increasing the temperature of the room in multiple senses.Whoa it's actually happening! He's learnt nothing at all... but it's still kind of amazing to watch. He's leaning out over the edge of the newly transformed pool, peering at it.]

[Can't forget the manners... especially since some part of him that he's trying to ignore is like hey could he do this to a person. He holds out a hand to hover it above the surface like a cat doing some test pawing before it actually touches something and then. Subaru just... runs past him and cannonballs in.]

[The end of his scarf is danging in the goo and getting a bit toasty but he's a bit distracted by seeing if Subaru hasn't actually evaporated himself, Lucifer's statements about warmth level aside.]

i figure molten stuff is like if you try and land pretty hard on snow
in that it pacts and then slurps you slowly so like, it's less cannonballing and more of a soft impact with him stumbling a little and realizing oh, this is very hot actually, and doing that white-person step they do on hot sand until he gets used to it]

Well. [Subaru is going to be toasted a little.] With prolonged exposure, it will eventually start to burn. It'll be much akin to bathing in water that's a touch too hot...
["A touch" is putting it lightly. Subaru is going to come back with 2nd degree burns, probably. Especially because he just, got nakey and jumped in? Why did he get nakey... how nakey is he.

Ah, r-right. Should... probably take this off, huh?
[He takes off his scarf and buries it under his jacket and beanie before the smell can get to him and ruin his day, and places them in a pile beside the pool while he wonders how hot is 'a touch too hot' as because usually 'too hot' for most people is often 'pleasantly warm' for him, but this is kind of an indicator in it's own right. He guesses he'll just have to find out...
He takes a cautious, wobbly step in, arms grabbing at air and then spreading for balance, and then windmilling a little as his feet start to sink a bit. His shoes are very warm. It's a bit like walking on a really rain-soaked lawn, the way the ground just gives under the grass and sucks at your shoes and he's going from foot to foot swaying, keeping to the border just in case but also looking down at the glow with what he'd say is interest but which is clearly delight.]
Ahaha.... you really do float!
[He's going to try and jump and... that's too much and he falls over on his back on the lava, rip.]

[Hang on let him try to lever himself up, this is like every PSA about quicksand except also about waterbeds, or, well, an entire pool filled with something too dense to swim in but too goopy to return all of the force it's pushed on with. He does manage to roll over and from there grab the pool edge and pull himself out though.]

[Message received on both counts! He's going back in again but... no jumping for sure this time. He's heading over to where Subaru is as well, because a thought has occurred to him.]

Not sure about glass exactly but... think about it.
[Subaru's handprints are slowly filling in. With the small hisses of someone trying to get a still-too-hot cookie out of the oven Shin tries to get a pinch of the stuff and pull it up into a peak... it starts oozing back down almost immediately but this is definitely not something water does.]
We've got a whole pool of it right now...

[shin's right. the possibility is there, and subaru presses his lips together tight as he tries to scoop some with a finger onto the edge of the pool.]
Let's try beads first. We'll know how they look from there.

You can take it out of the pool with no problems. It should cool down like glass normally would, but I do have to warn you it'll turn back into water eventually.
