What: We're turning the pool into (fake?) lava

Warnings: Mild Burns? The fridge horror of possibly being why a corpse is charred.





So Shin and Subaru had an idea, and they asked dad (Clamor) and dad said no, ask other dad, so then they asked other dad (Lucifer) and are now his problem. Now they're all in the pool, in the dark, about to commit crimes against pool safety.

[after he's gotten used to ("used to") the lava, subaru is. learning you can't really swim in it. it's not very swimable, for a couple of reasons:

1. it's very hot

2. it's like, sluggish? it's thick

3. it's Very Hot

so he's sort of floating on his back instead, careful not to get it in his eyes and feeling the burn on his back. like being in the sun too long.]

This is sooooo cool...☆ It's like a hot tub you can swim in.

[and when he's not, uh. burning himself alive. he's out of the pool to take a breather.

and eat the lava. which. tastes sort of metallic. and like saltwater. and also nothing at all, because subaru spits it out when he feels the familiar burn of tongue-scalding and sort of regrets his decision, so he's laying out on his front. his back looks like it has a serious case of sunburn]

Maybe we shoulda gotten some burn cream... I feel like I'm on fire. ☆

[but it doesn't sound like he. dislikes that? he's still riding high on the fact they have a temporary lava pool]

( she'd seen a few people leave and head to the pool- and, well, even if late night swimming's neat, and they do have an adult, nene has turned into something of a slightly paranoid mother hen, so she'd come to check on them.

I can't believe you guys turned the pool into lava.

I normally have it down, but I've been putting it in pigtails more, lately... it helps keep it out of the way when I need to do things.
