I'm mostly okay, just a little throaty. How have things been on your end?

Throaty? Have you been speaking a lot? I would be proud to hear if you have been practicing public speaking!

A lot has happened since I last saw you around. At the moment, I would say that I am doing well. I have been serving as a member of the student council for the past few months! Dorms have just recently opened, which has been a big relief as well.

It kind of feels like the opposite. I'm pretty used to public speaking from being the vice president of my own club and yelling at morons a lot.

It's good that you are doing well at the moment.

I see. Aside from having to yell at such people, I am proud to hear that you are accustomed to public speaking and that you are vice president of a club. Well done, Inaba-kun!

Thank you. Times can be quite rough here, and there have been several incidents even this month. But at the very least, I suppose that I can be thankful for my own health and that my friends are unharmed. And now I am glad to hear from you once again as well!

Well, most of the time it's yelling (affectionate) but hey, all of that was before this stupid school, you know? Don't think I'd want to be any sort of club leader here.

I can certainly understand that! Even friends need to receive a scolding sometimes to help keep them on the right track!
So that is a responsibility that you will not take up here? That is fair. Things are very different in this school, after all!

Yes, I admit to feeling conflicted about you being trapped here again. But at the same time, until now, I had come to believe that whenever someone disappeared from this school, they

Yeah, it's pretty old, though. It's been a while since I've watched it.

I see! Yes, I am aware that the movies were made back in the 70s and 80s! Perhaps I should try to watch it sometime. In the past, I would have dismissed it completely. But thanks to Yashiro-kun, I have been exposed to another film of the genre that managed to be quite charming. I might be able to appreciate Star Wars if I enjoyed Hamster Space Wars!

Films are actually pretty interesting and you can learn something from them.

Indeed! I understand that now. I used to only see the value in documentaries and other films that were explicitly educational. But now I am starting to see the value of other kinds of movies. They truly are quite enjoyable! I certainly hope that there are more 'movie nights' in the future!
