[ Senku quickly makes his way over to the door before opening it and finding Inaba indeed, standing there. ]

Inaba-san... It's good to see you. Come on in.

[ He's just gonna scoot out of the way so she can make her way inside the workshop. It's pretty quiet since it's just the two of them, but Senku's been tinkering away at something in the meantime. ]

I'm sure we both have tons of questions for each other.

Can't say it's entirely good to be back.

[Her voice is a little throaty, clearly struggling with her words a bit, but she manages regardless, wearing a rather thin smile.]

I heard about a bit from Nene already... might be easier for you to start with your questions, though.

[ Still, he's happy she's alive. And is at least one of the more reasonable people alive, at that. ]

Well, I suppose the first question is: How did you manage to get back here?

[For a few moments she's quiet, opening her mouth, closing it before shaking her head.]

"Getting back here"-- I honestly don't know.

Huh... So you have no recollection... I guess that makes sense. Well, I suppose that may tell us one thing as well- if you can come back here, then there's also a way out from this place entirely. It wouldn't be so mysterious otherwise.

Unfortunately...

[Her words trail off a little awkwardly as she rubs at the nape of her neck; there's a clear discomfort in not knowing.]

I do wish we had answers, though.

Ha, you and me both. Guess that just means we have to be annoying in our pursuit for answers, huh?

[ He chuckles a bit. Science is pursuing the truth of the matter, no matter how slow and grueling the trial is, and Senku has determination in spades. ]

Oh, also- I remembered something. Back when the charity auction was going on, I remember you bidding for the dinner with the principal, if he ever decides to show his face around here again, that is. I managed to get ahold of that, myself. If there's a way, maybe we can both go and prod him for answers one of these days if you'd like.

Ah, yeah... I did do that. I think I vaguely remember hoping to have a conversation with him by using the dinner as a guise. I just hope he'd have some answers.
