[SEMI-OPEN?] penny for my thoughts?
Who: ????
When: Saturday, September 25th
What: A gorinto is placed in room 1-C.
Warnings: Violence/death, descriptions of burning bodies, and npckun getting an ouchie in the connected log. Will update this if needed.
Clamor's gorinto is set up before the weekend, a simple monument of stacked rocks sitting on the windowsill of class 1-C. Anyone is free to pay their respects, though should they choose to touch it, they'll be confronted with a vision of blood, violence and fire.
For those willing to pay the toll and place a coin upon the rocks... perhaps someone will answer?
((Anyone may touch the gorinto on the 25th and see Clamor's death. Two groups (closed) may place a coin on the gorinto and speak to one of the ghosts connected to it. If your character would have a question for Clamor or "Clamor", please send me a PM/plurk/discord ping and we may be able to fit them in, but CR/investigators will take priority!))

Not that blames the guy, given Komaeda being... Komaeda... But. He'll step on the back of Komaeda's shoe, annoying but basically harmless, and just. let him clarify. )
...What he means to say is that we'd like to ask you some quesTIONS, Senpai, regarding what happened that night and your reasons for the entire chaRADE. ( He smiles a little. It is not one that goes anywhere near his eyes, settling very calmly on his mouth and nowhere else. ) Provided you cooperate with US, this will be a very quick interrogaTION.

He can get little a schadenfreude out of Natsume stepping on Komaeda's heels. As a treat.]
It's not like you'll get another chance to explain what really happened...
[Dangle, dangle. C'mon, don't you want to monologue a bit? Share your side of the story? That should be it's own catnip, right?]
no subject
[ She's not here to babysit that guy he can go. But this mysterious student....she's mad!! She's mad and she wants answers!! Killing Clamor...making Noah cry. It's unforgivable! ]
So, please repent and explain everything! And at least start with your name, so I know who I'm talking too!
no subject
luckily for him komaeda's a twig!! )
You heard her, don't bully women... that'd be very rude of you. I wouldn't be surprised, though... You didn't even take control of a woman's body...
( the misogyny is already showing, but he claps his hands together gently. )
Which begs the question, why did you choose Clamor-san... Adams-san could have been a great choice.

y'all really aint gonna leave until he says something back, huh]
What, so you can hunt me down if we end up in the same year again? Yeah, right.
[He sounds a little tired, but mostly annoyed. Imagine being trapped in an infinite loop of your dying moments and then your only reprieve is Komaeda asking what dying to an Ultimate was like. Kind of an instant mood-killer. Not really what he wants to think about right now, if ever, so]
Interrogate my ass. You're a bunch of armchair detectives, yeah? Figure it out yourselves, it's not my problem anymore.
[He's dead, so what does he care?]

( ...they have some questions they're supposed to ask, and Komaeda's is a good starting point, and kind of what he wants to know too—or at least have his supsiscions confirmed on—but, well, get through the more important parts.
He has a vested interest in one of these, after all. )
You and I aren't so dissimiLAR, in one way or anoTHER. I have an interest in soul magic TOO. ( can't not have one. ) How did you manage to switch yourself into Master Clamor's boDY?
( And Where Did He Go dammit )

...
[End up in the same year again... that's an interesting sentence in it's own right, looking at it. There's more petals than classes... was Inaba that lucky? He's trying to memorize the guy's voice, but it's definitely trickier than having a name or face...
'Figure it out yourselves'...]

Hunt you down? Please...I just want to punch you.
[ Maybe hit him with a gun a little. That's not murder. When Natsume finishes his questions, she raises her voice to add. ]
It'll be your problem when you get back here, won't it!? Sharing information helps everyone...Natsume-san understands that.
no subject
( no wonder they failed, they're such a piece of work who overcompensate with being aggressive than taking life as it gives it. hence why they're even in this position. crossing his arms, komaeda laughs softly as he understands natsume's question is built from his, so he has it in that department, but winding up in the same year. )
Oh, don't worry. You will, and your cycle will put us together. ( :) ) The unfortunate me, and then you'll have to suffer in the despair of being by my side.
( he's been like this for two years already if he has pictures of lily may on his camera, he guesses, anyway. )
If you answer us properly, I'll avoid that, and instead do anything you needed before your death. Even though you lost, you were a very hopeful experience, and that way I'll thank you since you became a stepping stone.
( literally. )

[but anyway, back to the soul magic question...]
Everything I figured out is in the spellbook I had with me, Sakasaki-kun. If that's all you wanted to know, you can just read it yourself. If something happened to it, well, I guess you're on your own then, 'cause I sure couldn't tell you how it all worked off the top of my head.
How do you know it wasn't Clamor-san that tried to switch with me? He's the one who knew all that weird stuff. Maybe I was just an innocent bystander, minding my own business. [besides all the lying and murdering and black magic he did.] But it doesn't really matter now, so... I don't know! You can believe whatever you want, but I really have no idea how I ended up like that. Weird, huh? If it's not Clamor-san who did it to himself, someone else must be messing around with the same kind of thing.
no subject
( was it an accident or was it on purpose? if they were an innocent bystander, then they can stay to the story, but the option is there, and if anything they need to pick through the holes. for being such a flirt (but sara is so easily charmed), there has to be a way to please him so that he speaks. komaeda chuckles softly, tapping his chin in thought. )
You must have been quite the catch... charming... if that's the case, why don't you let us put you back into your old body? Unless you never had one at all, with the amount of spirits that haunt this school, it isn't unfamiliar for you to wait when he's at his weakest and take control, unless you're more refined and wouldn't use such a brutish method.

If Komeada wants her to sit quiet while he entertains crazy ideas though, he's got another thing coming. ]
Komeada-san please, He's already contradicted himself. Clamor attacked him, but he figured everything out with the spellbook? If he was a victim, why would he have any need to jump bodies again. Can we not play along with this farce?
We're all students here, aren't we. Lets speak honestly about what happened, so we can prevent it in the future and nobody needs to have any sort of weird vengeance. [ Do not go killing yourself to reincarnate with this guy... Look even Sara thinks thats weird. ]
no subject
Sara-chan is pretty clever, huh? [maybe pretty and clever] Come on... here I am, trying my best to be cooperative, and you're still calling me a liar? I didn't say it was Clamor-san who started this.
But I get it. See? You're not gonna believe me anyway, so we're just gonna be talking in circles until your coin runs out, and that won't help any of us! But I don't want you guys blaming me for any weird stuff either, so how about we try this from a different angle.
You think I swapped bodies with Clamor-san, right? Sooo... why would I do that if I was just gonna swap with someone else a few weeks later? Doesn't make any sense, right? If I knew how to swap bodies like that already, I'd have no reason to bother with Clamor-san.
You wanna know where my old body is? It's dead! I don't even know who did it. Some jackass slit my throat in the middle of class... but I've been dead since June, so I wasn't exactly in a position to be kicking souls out of bodies when Clamor-san's went missing. Don't you think more people would be getting possessed if it was that easy to hijack a body? I wouldn't have to go to this much trouble if it was like that, too.
See? Doesn't make any sense! So how about you stop trying to blame me for stuff I didn't do so we can put all this behind us, yeah?
no subject
( you know, let him larp his fantasy life or whatever it is, but his words do raise some points. )
Thank you for confirming the month of your death, so... you would have went to the wisteria immediately after, considering that's where all souls go after their death. Possession is easily done once the body of your choosing is at its weakest, if there was no soul transferring, and so you must have learned what to do because you wanted out. Perhaps Clamor-san wasn't your ideal body, so could we assume that's why Ito-kun was there as your new choice?
( what's so special about ito that the other would want to go to him, he is a husk at the moment, and so maybe the spirit was learning how so they could have someone of their choosing. he looks towards sara for a moment, wondering if she'd be able to fill in the blanks where komaeda has no information. he didn't bother to ask about the student aside from admiring a pretty generic face — he's cute in komaeda's standards. )
You did ask Amami-kun what his grades were like, and that you wouldn't want to be in his shoes... did Ito-kun have a fine set that you admired? Or was the Shopkeeper a part of your plan considering they're not actually a student, and aren't bound by the same rules as us. ...Hm.
no subject
As he talks however, she holds up a PDA, unlocking it with a digit code and showing the face to Komeada without a word. No need to let their mystery student know what cards they held. Narumi Ito's grades are top of his class. But lets see what he says about it himself. ]
Yes. It doesn't make sense. [ That's exactly as far as she's willing to play along with all his leading statements. That's what Komeada is for, answer his questions, and she'll just be over here, judging you. ]
If you aren't at fault for Clamor's death, then explain. You're acting like you have something to hide, but you want us to believe the best in you. Leading us on to guess an answer that would be preferable to you...how annoying. I don't like games so just speak clearly.

( ...he was a third year, concerned with graduation. natsume narrows his eyes and crosses his arms. )
I'll make sure you're unable to graduate at ALL.
( which is kind of a bluff, but no one has to know that. maybe he'll get good enough at ?whatever? to make it come true. )
no subject
[bunch of chuunis, the lot of you]
I told you already, I didn't have anything to do with what happened to Clamor-san. I just woke up in the guy's body. I mean, think about this from my perspective—if you died and woke up in someone else's body, would you question it? [... well] I mean, you wouldn't just tell everyone you're not that person, right? That'd be suicide. I just did what anyone would do in my shoes.
Ito-kun was doing great this year, yeah. So they'll definitely let him repeat, you don't have to worry about him at all! I'm not totally heartless. Really, I'm the one who pulled the shortest stick. I had to die two times in the same year... even my ghost is getting bullied...

Please stop threatening to hurt yourselves!?
[ Turns back. ]
Its the plot of a really popular movie actually. But then you'd have to wake up in a girls body...
[ You know if you weren't such a 90's kid trapped in a hell school, maybe you'd be more up to date on one of the hottest animated romance movies of 2016. ]
If you're telling the truth, I wish you would have worked with us. Nobody would have killed you. Nobody needed to get hurt...
no subject
( with that much said, it reads like he didn't want that body, and he was technically after ito's which draws the conclusion that he was forced into a body he didn't want. perhaps he was leaning magic in order to get out, and or get a better body, and they were presumably a first year before getting into another first year? how unfortunate. )
What you did isn't wrong...
( but it's not right either, but maybe what their friend — unnamed — needs is to explain what they would want aside from, uh, graduating. )
Will you talk about others, how did the shopkeeper come into play, they aren't a resident of this school, but... you didn't want them.
( why didn't they take them? )
no subject
I never said I was going to hurt mySELF, so don't put such filthy words in my MOUTH. There are ways of ensuring spirits can't pass on properly that don't involve me dying for some stubborn basTARD.
( like..... seriously try not to make comments about this around him when he Literally killed a girl to keep from dying lol )

Er. I’m glad? [ Sara holds up her hands and blinks at Natsumes viterol. She doesn’t know him that well but…seems that was the wrong thing to say! But really it’s not her fault, the dead guy assumed first! Not her! ]
…I’m glad to know you have such expertise then. [ She just needs to be diplomatic. ]

[...]
The student store kid, right? Yeah, they weren't supposed to be there... how are they doing, anyway? Still unconscious?
no subject
I'll find your murderer. ( he knows the time frame, he knows they used to be a first year, so all it takes is asking for the list of deaths. ) As for that predicament... what do we do... before it's too late?
( a small lie, but also not exactly answering the question. nothing about that says that the shopkeeper is still unconscious, and he crosses his arms as he looks off to the side recalling the events. )
You're knowledgeable enough... what happened to them? Hm... how do we fix it...
no subject
Take some responsibility for your actions. You choose to distrust everyone, and people died! You took someone very precious away from people who loved them...but even still you're a student like us. When I say I would have helped you if you'd asked, I mean it with my whole heart. Can you say the same about what you're doing right now? So...don't go around feeling sorry for yourself like you had no choice in all of this!
If you come back, I hope you reflect on yourself a little! If you can't even help us fix things when we're willing to work this all out, then you're just making the mistake of distrusting everyone all over again!
no subject
He goes quiet for a bit while Sara lectures him, though. The lack of a body makes it hard to tell what he's thinking, but the glow of the gorinto might flicker a bit from Natsume's point of view, not unlike a stubborn candle blown by a forceful wind.]
... Sara-chan is a really honest girl, isn't she? First-year girls are always cute like that. Maybe if we'd met before I died, I would've tried to work things out instead... oh well! I forgive you for not looking out for your senpai, Sara-chan~
Shop-kun was just in a bad place at a bad time... so I'll give you this one for free. [no messing around! honest!] Go ask Lucifer-san about sleep hexes. He should know what to do. He made it sound really easy to fix, so if something went wrong, blame him, not me! I just did exactly the way he told me to!
