You will all have to forgive me if this common knowledge, but my own curiosity won't let me rest until it's sated.
Do any of you know what the longest amount of time spent in the "other" school has been? Not from the perspective of out here in normal terms, but in there. For instance, has someone tried to write down a record of the amount of seconds - or minutes - that passed while on the other side? Anyone try to stay over for... Days? Weeks?
If you've fallen asleep there, any strange dreams? I know you can see through the mirrors in there, and that watching lets you see back here. Or at least... Something that seems like back here at first assumption. Anyone know if it's possible to use this as a means of pseudo-seeing into the future, given that once you return you get sent back to the moment you entered?
These are... A lot of questions, I know! ^^" I just can't help myself. The existence of such an altered state of reality is just so... Inviting? Like it's just begging to be explored.

i was asleep most of that time it couldve been longer, it was last week
[we all know what happened to noah last week.]

so yeah
but i normally have nightmares if i dont walk until i collapse anyhow
just old family life and childhood stuff you know?

Somehow that's even more suspicious than getting dreams of, say... The void in the auditorium itself whispering to you.
Or something.
Ever go in with someone else so they could check and see if you started sleepwalking? Or speaking while unconscious?

ive brought people in with me but never fallen asleep no, i guess thats a good thing to check except
i have night terrors so maybe someone else should sleep

Add-chan answer your PDA??? If you throw yourself into the void I'll be really angry!

[he's fine!!!! see??]

[ Do NOT worry her. Do NOT ignore her. ]
Add-chan, what do you even do in the void for two months?? You're going to forget everything we're learning in class.

Got bored after two months. All the data I collected is gone. Irritating. You owe me lunch.
No time seems to have passed on this end.
no subject
Let me know what you'd like to eat.
Anything interesting happen? Other than two months passing. Sorry about your data.

Two months of notes, photos and video recordings. All of it erased upon return. Even the supplementary data saved to my implant was affected... natural memory seems to be the only reliable record-keeping method.
Bathrooms were observed both during and after active school hours. Everyone was wearing these brown "ugg" boots or whatever around 32 days in, so if that happens within the same timeframe there may be a correlation between events shown from the void and events in normal timespace. I didn't see any "transfer students" in the mirrors, though. There's a slim chance that something else leads to everyone no longer using the bathrooms here, but it's doubtful.
The time of day never changed within the void world, even after two months. Always nighttime, but before silent hours. The auditorium was still about the same size as it was when I arrived. I slept in there a few times, so prolonged exposure to the void doesn't appear to be harmful so long as you're able to return to solid ground.
Some of my abilities returned to me during that time as well, so it wasn't a total waste I suppose.

I’ll be sure to keep an eye out for... Whatever Ugg boots are, in the meantime. However, the fact that you didn’t see a single transfer student is rather interesting... I think personally that is the result that needs the most further testing.

There are several possible explanations. Since it's a space that exists outside of time the images reflected by the mirrors may be from before any of our group arrived here, or it may be a parallel reality where none of us existed at all. Unless we can identify events in those images that have occurred on this side, we should assume for now that it's not directly related to the school we know. Not the version of it we currently exist in, anyway.
If your ideas are interesting, I'll consider them. An entity like myself is more suited to that place than humans... but I'll require equivalent entertainment in return for any long-term trips in the future. [he was so bored. void-science can only keep him distracted for so long.]

[ These all sound like...terrible ideas. ]
(^^)/ Well! [ Gotta mock his emoji. ]
If you stay in the void for weeks you'll starve! But maybe you could do a momentum experiment with dropping things out windows in the void?
[ If you drop something out a window, then spill blood while its midair, could you time if things fall slower, and if theres any change when you go back to reality? The psychics of an altered reality could be good to know.
If you push someone out a window though she's going to hit you. ]

Writing that one down. Got anything else in mind?
no subject
Er... Well I was just thinking about your idea of seeing the future. I don't think you could know that...unless you tested if things follow the same path in the void as they do in reality. So if you threw something at me, and I caught it in the void and then we went back and did it again in reality. If we did that a hundred times, maybe we'd spot any differences, or if what we did in the void effected things.
Or lets say something worse...just hypothetically! If um...well we know when people die in the void, their bodies die. But how close is the timing? How dead do you need to be in the void, for it to stick here? How grievous an injury is it capable of undoing?
...But nobody should hurt themselves or anyone else to find out! It's not really worth knowing if thats the cost! Not even on animals!

I have to admit, I've never been one for scientific discover, so this is all a bit newer to me than I'd like to admit. I didn't consider repetition might factor into the results, although that would require a lot of fresh blood to be spilled from a person over and over... Which might actually effect the results also, come to think of it. Hm.

It's creepy and I don't get any good feelings from being there, after all.
Plus there's the growing void thing. In general, it feels like the kind of thing you're supposed to avoid.
no subject
That’s sort of the only way I can see us being able to stop it from growing any further and all.
no subject
Still, it couldn't possibly be a good idea to stay there for more than a day, right? Especially if you're alone.
no subject
And the starving, of course.
