✽ Silence lifts at six in the morning, and there is still quite a bit of time before classes start. Early risers who decide to return to school from the dorms cross the courtyard and open the double doors and—- something cold and wet drips down onto their head: old blood from the torso of a student(?) bound by rope and strung up above the doors to the courtyard, body burned black and cut in half at the waist.
✽ The air is heavy, and the entire school smells of blood.

Location/body: uh the front hall there the uh the blood dripping one
Action: He. won't want to deal with the body specifically. but he's here to be dripped on by popular "PLEASE DO IT" in discord, he's an early riser with a spot of breakfast in hand so like, what's the scene.

actually he'd probably at least look for a way to get the body down for other people to deal with but if that's best left to body people don't mind that

Subaru opens the door from the courtyard and gets dripped on. The blood runs down the back of his neck and feels super gross. It looks like the 1/2 body is tied up with rope, and he would have to either get something to climb on to reach and untie the body.

If he would leave the body to other people, there are other things in the locker area that would catch his attention.

Action: Add wants to make sure the workshop is okay because this is where he does all his... Addtingz, but also just to see if they see anything amiss along the way.

thanks he hates this. it makes him shiver, and looking up like he's in a horror film gets him to muffle a yell behind his hand, because he didn't get, a great look at the first half-body they dealt with, and he decidedly does not want to look at this one!

Action: while the other students get the first half of the body down, Tali and Shepard will start doing a sweep of the 1st floor to see if they can find the other half/any clues to what might have happened

Komaeda and Add go upstairs to the second floor, on the club side, and if they make a beeline straight to the workshop and look inside, there doesn't seem to be anything amiss about the room itself.

Tali and Shepard pass the lockers to scout out the rest of the floor. What will be apparent to them first is a small amount of blood in front of the front doors and also...

there's the other half of the body, a pair of legs strung up by the ankles with rope and left hanging above the front doors leading outside the school.

Let me know whether they would take a closer look at the body/this area, or if they would scout out the rest of the floor first. Stopping here would lock them to clues in this area, versus scouting will reveal relevant locations/potential bodies but others will be given priority for looking closer at them.

Location/body: Room 3-E, her homeroom and home of Gardening Club
Action: She'd like to check the room and see if there's anything amiss in a large sense - aka, a death - or in a smaller sense, if anything's missing or been reorganized.

They would stop to investigate the other half of the body. They would examine the scene first, looking for any clues as to what happened or anything that might lead them to the killer, before getting the body down and beginning to examine it.

Can they check sewing and cooking to see if there's anything off while they're there, and Add's going to use his Dynamo drone to actually check the other side of the second floor's classroom to do an easier sweep of locations. If it does find something, they'll want to go there first. Lavvy said that Add would do a quick network callout if it happens to find other details to allow another player character to investigate that spot.

Helena goes upstairs to the second floor on the classroom side, but she doesn't find anything amiss either on the way up and down the hall, or in the classroom itself. As far as she can tell, this part of the school wasn't touched by the recent deaths.

After making sure the room is alright, Helena can choose another location to investigate if you wish.

Subaru pretends the body does not exist and instead looks around the lockers themselves, up and down the halls and—-

almost steps on an arm on the ground. It looks to be a severed left arm.

Location/body: First floor
Action: He'll squint at the torso-half of the body for a minute, and he'll investigate that if it can be identified as someone he knows. If not, he'd keep moving, heading down the hall towards the library, student store, auditorium first, stopping if there's anything else out of place.

Add's Dynamo drone splits off from them towards the classroom side of the second floor, and may run into Helena who is also securing this half of the floor. Neither of them will find anything noteworthy.

Komaeda and Add poke their heads into the cooking room and see nothing amiss, and then they head down to the sewing club room. Before they actually enter the room, though, one of them may notice a short smear of blood just outside of the door, somewhere between the sewing room and bathroom.

This is the only major clue in the area, although they can look at it closer and ask questions.

it sure does

vaguely, subaru wonders if this is some elaborate prank set up by komaeda to test his hope, and decides it probably? isn't? then again, he did have a hand when they went to the pool, so maybe it is.

he inhales, exhales a little whine, and he'll at least see if there's anything particularly. identifying or note worth on the arm before i figure out what else he might want to look at. this is definitely different than one of those scary houses they set up during cultural festivals, but at least he's getting ideas for his test of courage run at the end of the month
