I'm sorry to bother everyone, but I'm just not feeling too good today. :( Does anybody know any stories to cheer me up with? That, or a nice remedy to deal with my headache. I think I must have had a bad snack or something. I'd really, really appreciate it. <3

[ Anybody on the second floor towards the sewing room may notice a blonde girl, seemingly straining herself to read on her PDA. It was hard to concentrate with a headache after all, but she felt like she needed to try and get as much info as she could.

Somebody had to pay for this, and this was going to be the first step. ]

( nene hangs around the sewing room a lot- so it's no wonder she runs into bonnie there- and she's stunned, truly. and when bonnie looks up, she might realize that nene's hair is longer, she has real bangs instead of the start and then forehead, and she looks... incredibly tired, with some new scars here and there.

[ Ah, she remembers this one! It had made sense that time had passed for her so her hair's not the same as before... but goodness, she seems beaten down. ]

Gosh, um... Nene, right? [ A pause. Piling on the super sweet card might be difficult right now, considering how out of it she felt. But, she can still manage a bit of a smile. ] Mm, it's me! Why wouldn't it be?

Ah... you're right. It's just... been a really long time.

( not that bonnie needs her to say that. nene looks away, before smiling up at her- a little subdued, but sincere. )

I'm glad to see you're back. Have you eaten, or anything? I can go get you something.

A long time... mm, it feels like I shouldn't be here at all, really.

[ Not the way she was attacked. At least, how it felt like it. ]

Now that you mention it... I am a bit parched. Is there any clean water yet?

Death isn't permanent here. ... It doesn't make it easier for those left behind to deal with, though.

( because yes, she absolutely believes bonnie and everyone else who vanishes dies. ... or maybe... maybe some of them accepted their situation, were ready to move on. maybe... )

Ah... It... looks clean? But only to some of us. I wouldn't trust it, if I were you. But we've got other drinks- we even have dorms now! With real beds!

[ Her typical sweet voice falters a bit. Really? Death isn't permanent? It certainly explained why she was back, and she couldn't help but clasp a hand over her mouth for a moment... mostly to stifle a chuckle. Useful, and semi-annoying to know when it came to finding her own attacker. ]

Gosh... so much has changed since I-- [ Bonnie taps her chin for a second, and finally decides to put the pin on it. ] I died. Any kind of drink would do, and a nice place to sleep would be wonderful!

( nene reaches into her pocket and pulls out a... a juicebox? girl. anyways, juicebox for bonnie, before she quietly gestures for her to follow. )

I... I know it's a heavy thing all at once, especially since you just got back. But there's really no avoiding it, either. The tallies on our wrists- ( and nene still has only one, still hasn't covered them up beyond what long sleeves might do. ) -they represent how many times we've either died or killed.

... There's a spare bed in my room- all of my roommates vanished at the start of the month. Only one was found. ( akira. ) And when we get down there, we can get you some food and more to drink. --We also have showers, and a laundry room. But the water goes cold if anyone uses the sink.

( nene has always been the bearer of bad news, it seems. but hey, the dorms re alright, yeah? except for the paintings, and also, it's totally cursed. but it's mostly inconvenient, really. )

[ Poking his head into the sewing room, Hanako doesn't find who he was looking for, but he floats over to her, trying to get behind her to read over her shoulder. He doesn't have a PDA... he's missing out on so much good gossip. ]

What's wrong? Don't know how to read?

Ah-- Don't do that!

[ She was so focused on the PDA, and suddenly some kid just shows up, what the hell?! Yelling didn't help matters either, causing her to cough a bit. Augh! ]

N-No, I-- [ She swallows hard, trying to calm herself down. ] I-I was just focusing...!

Ahaha!

[ He laughs but backs up, making no show of being sorry for startling her and instead moves around to her other shoulder like it's okay because she expects it now ]

What were you so focused on? Something ~saucy~?

[ Oh great, like an annoying bug. Doesn't she just feel great. ]

Who'd read anything like that in a school? [ Gross! ] It's just hard to focus right now!

[ He pulls a rather disappointed face, because— him. it's him, he would. ]

How come? What are you looking at? Let me see...

[ what is she backreading... ]

[ It's nothing super important. It's her scanning through PDA posts from prior to her arrival, as far back as she can but she can't read through enough of the words without losing concentration. ]

[ Ugh, whatever. ]

I wanted to catch up on what's happening in school. I've been away for quite a bit.

Have you tried the nurse's office? I would have thought that would be a staple item in any medical cabinet. Well, maybe not here. Ginger and peppermint tea are common home remedies. ~~匸Pヽ(･ω･｀)

No, but I wouldn't mind it if I had a treat like that now... it might make me feel better!

Oh, I guess I hadn't thought of that! Is it safe?

There's no harm in trying it. Do they have anything like that in the vending machine? (・・ ) ?

Yeah. They're safe unless you're allergic to one of the ingredients... (￣□￣lll) But they're both common enough that I would imagine you'd already know if you were, so you should be fine. (*￣▽￣)

Maybe! I don't have any cash on me though, they took it from me when I showed up here the first time. Hmm, there's probably some kind of way around that.
