Good afternoon! I’ve decided to break up the monotony and the dreadful tones we’ve had over this past week with a little game. It’s a scavenger hunt of sorts, because I have information on some of the murders that you all haven’t figured out.
But I’m not going to just give it to you, so you’ll have to participate!
I’ll give you the first clue.

inaba isnt insane enough for this kind of game. yukio is yukio. [for what that's worth.] shepard is too responsible. [she Mom Voice'd him.] which leaves komaeda, who i know pretty well, and joshua, who i dont know that well.
im not sure its very "hopeful" to erase evidence in a murder case. what do you think?

Joshua blinks when the Angry Teen Boy barge onto the roof, and he puts both hands into his pockets as he turns to him.]

[Joshua starts twirling one of his curls in his fingers in a bored way, as if the idea of it is something completely outrageous.]
I wasn't the one to kill them. [Joshua spreads his hands out a bit while he explains,] But Komaeda and I talk so much about giving those who live here more of a challenge. Now, Dito is incapable of being subtle, so why would I just let you all storm into my room in the middle of the night and demand answers on why he killed them?
Muscles get weary if they're used rarely -- the same goes for your mind. School is all well and good, but it doesn't challenge your critical thinking nearly enough for my tastes.

( it's obvious on who did kill them, and komaeda glances over to noah to watch him. it's always the same, as much as komaeda believes in hope. )
Saihara-kun is gone... Kawaii-san is also gone because of him. He's as reckless as Hyde.
( closing his eyes, komaeda stands up with a small frown as he thinks about their losses, people that he didn't think would go so soon. a hand on his hip while he tries to keep himself calm. )
He didn't kill for hope, but Kiryuu-kun's methods were to encourage the group, and encouraged you all were.

Right. Other's lives don't matter to people like you. I know that much. I don't care if you didn't kill them — what matters to me is that you can't let people rest peacefully. That pisses me off.
[All this talk of hope and despair and mental gymnastics... his stomach churns.]
You're a terrible person, [said to Joshua — he can get in a debate with Komaeda in a second,] and I'd hate to be like you.

so. he's moving on. his grin drops now, and his hand goes over his heart as he staggers back in a dramatic way.]
Oh! You've wounded me! [he cries dramatically] I'll never recover!!!
[but by the time he's finished up his exclamation, his lips are already twitching. now hate and fury is something he's used to dealing with. the feeling of disliked is a more natural feeling than being loved.
he starts with a giggle, and then he all out starts to laugh, leaning over for just a moment before sighing.]
Be like me? There's no one who would even come close! Those who have tried have wound up dead before they desired to. And besides, to be like me you'd have to understand me -- there are only a few who even come close.
I do hope you've relieved some of your frustrations on me with your words, though. Do you feel better now?

[Which unfortunately means that there's a very sparkly, starry-looking cat launching itself at Joshua from over Noah's shoulder only to stop shortly before his face and explode in an array of stars and sparks — it's a flashbang with extra galaxy aesthetic, basically. Through the distraction comes a very swift-moving teenager to try and deck Joshua in the face... not aiming to break anything, just aiming to give him a black eye or bruise his cheek.
