[ The entire apartment gets flooded, water bursting out the glass of all the windows and extinguishing the flames from the inside out, the front door open from the torrent of water that drags debris out of the apartment: a pair of sandals, a dog bowl, an entire microwave with soap suds leaking out from behind the door and something bumping around inside. ]

[for a second, she's frozen, engrossed in the sound of the water cascading down. it's strange, it's different, and it's captivating...but she shakes her head to clear it, and tugs a little more on the front of his robes.]

We have to land when we can. What we're looking for...it's not up here anymore, if the building's collapsed. We have to land and look for it.

[please...she doesn't know what's happening behind them but suddenly suspects something is happening.]

[Hell yeah free waterlogged microwave.

Listening to Helena's pleas, Lucifer flies down to the ground, and he lets his flooding hex end when the last bit of flames go away. So... probably not that long of a hex. The city will probably be loud again, he's sorry, he doesn't have a choice.]

Here. [Very gently, Lucifer lands and then sets Helena on the ground.] Do what you need to do to locate that object. I won't go anywhere.

[it's okay if the city's loud, now, she's had time to adjust what with the roaring water and all. but as it is, she sets to looking for whatever the mystery object is - whether it's a piece of the debris or hidden under anything, she can use her cane as a lever to retrieve it.

maybe if they gather up everything, they'll be able to help Narumi more? so she thinks.]

[ splash splash splash, Helena's cane hits the puddles left on the ground, but it's still enough to locate the objects that had washed out of the building. Sandals for a Narumi who's out there contemplating murder while barefoot, a dog bowl for a hungry pup about to be unstasis'd in the other thread, and a microwave that smells like soap and potato. ]

ok, maybe not microwave-chan, unless it'll survive being dragged by the cord over to Lucifer because she only has one free arm and the other things are in it, but she's here and with her findings, as proud as if they were special tomes.]

Hopefully they haven't gotten into too much trouble...we'll have to find food for the poor dog as well.

[but! that can wait until they land, because flying is amazing, and the sounds of the city now that they aren't unexpected and crazy to her are fascinating. so, so many things to listen to, to hear going by, machinery and movement like something constantly spinning around.
