I already know I'm going to regret posting this, but I suppose you know what they say: "curiosity killed the cat".
So, let's talk about a hypothetical scenario here. Something to debate on, I suppose.
[Stating 'hypothetical' because she's trying her best to act like a "normal" student, and doesn't want to be seen as too crazy on a public forum that can be seen by everyone.]
Let's say you have a significant other. Doesn't matter who it is or anything like that.
Now then, you end up dying and get sent to the afterlife.
You don't remember how you died, unfortunately.
But you don't see your significant other here. Presumably, because they're alive, or perhaps something happened so that they're not in the same afterlife as you for whatever reason.
You're told that you have the potential to reincarnate. Of course, you don't know how reincarnation works. Will you be reincarnated as a human? An animal? A robot? Something different? You're not told any of that. You aren't even told if you'll keep memories of your past life, either.
So, with that being said. In this scenario, would you consider yourself still a taken person? Or would you say that you're single now that you're dead? I'd like to hear a second opinion.

Are You Interested In Dating Again, Inaba-san?
I'd Advise Against Thinking Such Thoughts Here Anyway. Relationships Are Twice As Impermanent In A Place Like This... Just Consider Yourself Taken And Stay Faithful To Your Taichi-kun.

There's a reason why I said it was hypothetical.

Though
You Shouldn't Be So Hard On Yourself. You Might Be A Little Stuck-Up, But That's Cute In Girls. Your Looks Aren't Bad Either.

That's not cute at all? I mean, the definition of 'cute' is more of the type of girl that is bubbly!!
[Not denying the whole 'her looks aren't bad', as she knows that much.]

( ...Not that people shouldn't still make them, of course; what else is going to get you through school? )
Wrong. The Definition of "Cute" is "All Girls". Even The Type With An Attitude.

Although the realization of how finite bonds can be can be shown in ways besides someone is ultimately dead.
But...
I believe that even if someone's bond is cut because of someone's death, there will always be something left behind by them. The memories still exist. And any physical belongs will still be there, too.
(Well, that is, if someone doesn't do something stupid and destroys them, that is, but that's not really my point.)
Oh, if that's the definition, I might need to get a new dictionary, because it now means that all small animals are now officially 'not cute'.
