I already know I'm going to regret posting this, but I suppose you know what they say: "curiosity killed the cat".

So, let's talk about a hypothetical scenario here. Something to debate on, I suppose.

[Stating 'hypothetical' because she's trying her best to act like a "normal" student, and doesn't want to be seen as too crazy on a public forum that can be seen by everyone.]

Let's say you have a significant other. Doesn't matter who it is or anything like that.
Now then, you end up dying and get sent to the afterlife.

You don't remember how you died, unfortunately.

But you don't see your significant other here. Presumably, because they're alive, or perhaps something happened so that they're not in the same afterlife as you for whatever reason.

You're told that you have the potential to reincarnate. Of course, you don't know how reincarnation works. Will you be reincarnated as a human? An animal? A robot? Something different? You're not told any of that. You aren't even told if you'll keep memories of your past life, either.

So, with that being said. In this scenario, would you consider yourself still a taken person? Or would you say that you're single now that you're dead? I'd like to hear a second opinion.

Seriously. Being stuck in purgatory, and not having the freedoms of adulthood? Either it means the memories have been completely wiped or I peaked in high school.

[ both VERY bad possibilities! ]

Anyway. Ultimately, it depends on how you would feel about that person if you saw them again. That and, how they feel when they see you.

They don't, it's true.

[ Even if it's lonely. He's not prepared to not see the rest of the student council again. ]

This question's a lot more complicated than I thought it'd be.

So then, just hypothetically speaking, provided that that person is stuck in purgatory... do you think there's any way for them to get back in touch, just to say goodbye? Even if it's as a wayward spirit.

[ It just feels... wrong to leave things unresolved like this. ]
