The telephone in the principal's office is ringing.

( as ranger makes his way to shut the doors, komaeda stands in place thinking over what his partner has said, humming in thought — there's idiots on the other side of the phone, him and add heard enough of them to come to that conclusion as well possibly. from the information he's gauged from the walkie-talkie, he'll have to discern the rest from ranger. with that thought in mind, he releases add's hand once ranger's gone to do his adult duties.
closing his eyes, he grabs his jacket, pulling it around him like this to stave off the cold, and ranger can probably decide from that action that komaeda is cold, but not trying to kick up a fuss, between that and his head hurting from being attacked by a twin with abs, he's not doing so good — weak disposition and all. his eyes glance towards the ground, contemplating what to do considering how lively this has became, and he takes a small step to the side as he places his back against the wall, on the side of the principal's office. )
You had quite an eventful conversation... You'll have to tell me all about it when you get time, Riokun.
( no doubt add will probably want to know, and everyone else who is interested, but he has a feeling the other has already decided to meet with them give their "excitement" to meet their mystery person on the other side of the phone. he blinks slow, looking up at ranger, and he manages a small smile as he bends his knees to slide down against the wall, and then sit on the cool floor as he glances up. )

There's too many people, and it's too noisy. He is going to swipe a couple slices of pizza and slink over by Komaeda though, offering one to him, giving him a look that suggests he's trying to check in with him.
He doesn't like this. But he likes three people here, and Komaeda trusts Add enough to bring him into the fold, so he's willing to hang in there a little while longer. ]

( you know, kindness comes in different shapes and forms, he thinks that'll be fine, but that's good, knowing that he'll hold the conversation as everyone tries to gather their bearings, he glances up at the ceiling to make sure there's no crawlspace shaking... might be one or two, but it's not near him...

there's a lot going on, and the moment he's ready to close his eyes to get himself together, he can hear ranger sitting back next to him again. turning his head, he cants his head to the side as if he's trying to figure out the gesture. he normally wouldn't eat something, but if a twig like shin can eat at this time, and if ranger can go out his way to get him something...

[ At Komaeda's suggestion, Herlock stands and scrutinizes the man before him yet again. Not with any ill intent, but curious, as if he can't quite place him. ]
I don't believe I've seen you around here- have you recently arrived to this place yourself, Mr...?
[ Then again, he hasn't been "awake" himself for long, so he still isn't familiar with every transfer student around. ]

For now Ranger blinks several times as Komaeda opens his mouth, clearly puzzled, before he finally seems to get the idea. He scoots a little closer and, sure, he'll feed him. He shifts his grip on the slice before holding it out so Komaeda can take a bite - it's a little awkward and not quite perfect, but he's doing his best, and he'll have it down pat after the first or second attempt.
... He does feel a little less stressed for it, actually, if only because it's distracting. ]

but anyway, the important matter has been dealt with and it is getting noisy around here... he looks down at his hand after Komaeda deigns to release it, flexing his fingers a few times before shoving it into his pockets. he's staying in case something else of interest comes up, but that's about it. these new guys don't seem to be related to the phone call.

[ Faculty members would start showing up to break up the party at some point or another. Ranger lets his gaze linger on Komaeda, trying to determine what his plans were for after this. He won't omit anything of importance now, but there's things that are bothering him in a way that he can't put his finger on as of yet. There were too many little oddities. He'll skip classes today in favor of trying to sort everything out... He makes a note to write the conversation down, seeing as everything said here was liable to get forgotten later.
For now, he's going to give that second slice he'd taken at Komaeda to hold for him before wiping his hands on his pants. It wasn't too greasy, but still kind of gross... It was worth it, though. He still doesn't fully understand the assignment, but it was kind of cute to watch him.
He pushes himself up with a sigh. ]
Y'all better listen up, 'cause I'm only gonna say this once.
[ ... He's still really paying attention to Komaeda, despite saying that. He does nod to Moriarty, though, by virtue of him being the only one to contribute anything of actual value to the conversation. ]

[ He's looking back to Komaeda now. Here comes oddity number one. ]
First of all, one of 'em used their perks to get this going, name's Tomori. Second, One of them wants to know about their sister. Got cut off, but I'm gonna take a guess and say he was going for "Haruka."
[ There's only so many Haru names, and he happens to remember that one being of significance. ]
As for the rest of the idiot brigade, merit points as "payment" for this undefined help they're offering. Dunno what they want it for, but I guess it's 'cause they don't even go here, so they're not racking 'em up themselves.
[ He holds up his free hand to do air quotes for the word payment. He omits the rest for now, since it seemed to be more of a suggestion for what might be needed. The knife strikes him as a good idea, though, and he resolves to find the sharpest one he can.

They wanna meet up at 54.2 N, 45.2 E on December 15... Well, it's pretty obvious that it's a trap, but since they asked so nicely... Ahahaha, things should get pretty interesting!

[ He looks from Komaeda to Sara and Shin as he says that to confirm if any of them do, and a token glance to Add to acknowledge him as a worthwhile part of the conversation. As for the peanut gallery over there - ]

[ He'll accept any questions or comments from them, too, though. It's not quite an effort to shut everyone else out so much as that he's used to being laser focused on a few people, and those habits show even now. ]

54.2 N, 45.2 E... is that near here? If those are coordinates, that's... fairly north. In the region of Europe?
[ (he only knows this because England is on a similar latitude/longtitude tbh.) but. hm. letting the unknown party-slash-the enemy choose the location and the timing? william instinctively thinks about how he would agree that is absolutely sounds like a trap but also...

( but the name of the game with graduation is that you go home once you graduate, many people can share the same last name, but perhaps that could have been the perk. it sounds odd, no matter how a person slices it, but not only does that name sound familiar, the second does too.
there's only one haruka within the school, and komaeda hums in thought while he keeps his eyes on ranger, watching his mouth mostly as he listens to the outside voice of moriarty...
a trek north of the school... alright, moriarty has something going on, but time is of the essence so he won't bother him right now. )
Hm... Riokun, did you hear anything in the background when they were talking, or were they annoying on purpose to block all that out?
( just a simple question, but he's watching for something specific, but who can tell if those dead eyes of his are just looking through ranger because that's how they are. )

Normally, but it'd be a different spot here. We're working with a smaller area. Should be manageable.
[ Ranger doesn't tend to show emotion at the best of times, but now there's none of the little tells that he tends to use to indicate his mood shifts. The blank stare is fixed solidly in place, without so much as a hint of what he's feeling, and the open-mouthed grin doesn't so much as budge from where he's holding it. If not for the steady rise and fall of his chest and the occasional blink and glances, it might be a bit like looking at an unfeeling doll.
He's still processing what had been said, and the stress of being around so many unknown people isn't helping matters any. His voice remains even, without much inflection to it even as he answers Komaeda, ]
Yep, bastards weren't make any effort to hide what was going on. It sounded like they were outside, there was a pretty strong wind going on... Hm, I don't think they were standing too close too. It sounded like they were standing several meters away from whatever they were using to make the call.
[ Was it a phone? That seems like the sensible option, but it's a bit odd that they'd have it so far away. Everything about it suggests that something was off. ]

Haruka, though... she has a brother, out there? It could be a coincidence, given Ranger saying he was cut off, but... that's getting him, somewhere in his chest, and he's filing it away. Same with the name of the single graduate, and those co-ordinates...]
Even if that's in not Europe, if it's outside the school... How are we supposed to get there?

[There's been one time in Yogen he's been outside of it's bounds, even if that was in the past and in a story book(?). Worlds in objects, though... that has him unconsciously following a parallel train of thought, one with it's own black cloth chill in implication. He looks away and down pensively, hand fluffing his scarf.]
